Voting in an election is like taking the train. You never get to exactly your final destination, but you get close enough. Then you have to do the work. America, you’re not going to find the absolute perfect candidate. But find the one that suits you the best, OUT OF WHAT’S AVAILABLE.

Wow. What an absolute piece of shit.

Samuel Alito: We won't overturn Obergefell because it's engendered reliance interests. Jan Crawford: Well, many people had organized their lives around Roe v. Wade. Alito: No, they didn't. Women merely had an "abstract" interest in "ideas about the kind of society that they were going to live in."

Anyone who knows me, knows that I have good days and bad days. I’ve cried three times today and I don’t know why. I feel like the worst, most useless human being on earth. I’m sorry.

And Burnham should remove the gloves, tell Tice to literally fuck off unless he divulges all funding sources of Reform or provides evidence of any claims they make.* *Oh and reveal where Farage is hiding.

I suppose it's not nearly the most important point, but the standard MOCA doesn't actually ask 30 questions. I feel like this fact alone should be evidence of cognitive decline...

@lawrenceodonnell.bsky.social Sir, listening to last night’s Last Word. As a Brit, I’d like to add a tiny bit of additional context. In the 1980s, there was a Sitcom called ‘Blackadder,’ which I don’t think aired in the US. The idiot sidekick, named Baldrick, used to have a daft idea, and it was

referred to with the line: “I have a cunning plan.” Because of this, the phrase ‘cunning plan,’ as used by Ed Davey, is used to reference a really dumb idea. I hope that this is of interest. If you would like me to expand on this, reach out. I’m happy to write a bit more detail if it helps.

@professorplink.bsky.social I wanted to ask a question. First, I am an atheist, and I think I am the same type as you are. I don't personally believe we can see back before the Planck Time, because I'm of the belief that our current presentation of the universe came from the singularity at the

centre of a black hole, which absorbed all of the previous universe, put it under immense pressure to become the singularity of the Big Bang, and then ripped the black hole apart when it exploded. Maybe I'm stupid, but I'm proud to not believe in the magic sky daddy.

@zackpolanski.bsky.social It’s time to stop the VAT windfall at the pumps. If 5% VAT is fair for heating our homes, why is it 20% for the fuel we need to get to work? People in this country are struggling RIGHT NOW. Pls push for a temporary VAT cut to 5% on diesel and petrol?

Right, this is IMPORTANT. If you feel you may have been involved in a car finance deal between 2007 and 2021 where you were not told about Discretionary Commission Payments, high commissions (35%+) or exclusive deals between lenders and car dealerships, you must submit your complaint to the finance

US Peeps: This is the sitch in the UK right now: I have a 2016 Diesel car. Three weeks ago, Diesel was £1.37/l at my local gas station. That's roughly £5.18/gallon (c. $6.90). Today, diesel is £1.66/l, or £6.43/gallon (c. $8.61 at the time of writing). Thanks to Donald Gump and Pete Kegsbreath.

I feel like shit today. Blood pressure - high Weight - over Pulse - high New medication in my system today. And it's cold. I can't even ask for chocolate. So send pet pics, or at least, think nice things.
