A cabbage, or Something. I should have learned kung fu, instead of ethics. Bees are good, bees are good, I believe that bees are good.. 2+2=-3 in Z/7Z. e/em

I can't say I'm really following the electoral politics of like, Estonia and Lesotho, but a lot of these bad guys have stood up to be identified and a good weathervane is "it's good when the candidates Musk, Vance, etc. push for loose."

I think this becomes quite understandable in the context of an international fascist movement that has swept much of the planet in a decade, with horrifying and very extreme consequences for the entire species

I have to assume there's significant overlap between "people who think the average american thinks Cheesecake Factory is fancy" and "people who don't understand or appreciate camp." The median american likely does understand camp/kitsch at least in the context of TCF.

Like "Las Vegas" is a popular tourist destination. People do not see Caesar's, the Luxor, or Treasure Island as the height of style or luxury- people for the most part see these places for what they are, which is fun but more than a little silly.

Should I go to the Cheesecake Factory? There's one that's not too far away, but I've never been because it's not super convenient, i don't eat out a lot, and the reputation of the place. Also, I don't like cheesecake (except for Basque cheesecake, which slaps.)

I mean, it's not like there needs to be a law to require you to disclose this, but when you say this sort of thing I know to stay far away from anything you're making. Like this is not something someone who is opposed to using AI would say.

It may be that much like "A STAR IS BORN" the template of "young girl on the cusp of adulthood with an infant brother goes on one last magical journey" is the sort of thing you just need to remake every 40 years or so to reflect the tastes of the era.

I checked an all of the "private theater rentals" at all of the local AMCs are booked for this weekend. I really wonder if that's less about "children's birthday parties" and more about "YOU CAN SEE EVERYTHING" being a hot ticket.

The only way you could have watched that video without being absolutely impressed with the matter-of-fact way AES dismantled and exposed that pitiful gotcha is for bad reasons

It's genuinely weird to position "a building constructed in 1873" as being of genuine historical value IN FRANCE a land with 800 year old cathedrals and 900 year old castles.

"To the extent my rhetoric has been imperfect, that's on me."

I don't know anything about David Crowley since I don't live in Wisconsin, I just get the ads, but the "and then he celebrated with cake" with a picture of him and a woman cutting into a cake that says "celebrate" on it, is very funny to me. Like can't we all enjoy some cake from time to time?

There's a scene in YOU CAN SEE EVERYTHING where Nathan is talking to a technical person at the new startup from Liz and Billy, and he says something like "these execs say all sorts of stuff that's not true- look at Tesla and their FSD tht never happened" and Billy gets SO MAD.

I won't spoil but if you want to see YOU CAN SEE EVERYTHING spoiler-free you've got like two days before the spoiler is just something everyone knows

They should let you quadbox this in the theater. Making the audio intelligible is a technical problem for Sony to solve.

Sony is considering releasing all 4 β€˜BEATLES’ biopics on the same day in April 2028. Another idea being considered is offering a 4-pack of tickets to encourage fans to buy tickets to all 4 films at once. (Source: www.hollywoodreporter.com/movies/movie...)

This is more or less what I expected (the AI math "proofs" are worthless since there's no point in manually verifying them) I think example 4.4 is particularly digestible to someone without a heavy duty math background.

Bruno Dies@brunodias.dev

The actual math in this paper is over the heads of non-mathematicians but the core argument is pretty easy to follow: AI theorem-prover formalizations can't actually be trusted to faithfully be the same argument as the natural-language paper they come attached to arxiv.org/abs/2610.081...

Considering that math is basically the pursuit of the aesthetic principle of "elegance", the whole enterprise of "the computer generated a hundred million lines of code that confirms... something" and a Natural Language argument for something that might be unrelated, is not fruitful.
