Your spooky streams have raised $100,000! 👻🎮 This funds new GO Karts, which bring video games right to kids’ hospital bedsides. Thank you for making game time part of their day. #SS2026

It took like two good hours worth of cussing out the smallest differences in shades, and occasionally having to undo entire chunks because I'd noticed I flipped a piece exposing some color code thing, but damn if these things don't come out looking cool when they're done.

For every dollar raised, I'll be raising the bar, or dumbbell, or whatever you want! Your boy has been in the gym a fair bit, and I'm ready to make it worth it. And every donation helps choose the next recipe we make. Also! If we raise $300 by October 31st, then macarons will be on the menu!

Man, it's almost maddening how many people cry out "I need AI to code!" Like, dude, I went from having 0 practical coding knowledge, to having multiple websites/applications built, and am currently integrating Obsidian and Linux into more of my life. FreeCodeCamp is the BEST for starting out.

Like, I learned HTML, CSS, and JavaScript from them. My boss is heavy into ColdFusion, so when the Learn ColdFusion in a Week site didn't click, I could ask him. Hell, even now, I run into a problem and I find message boards discussing the same thing and learn something new.

The real difference is the time investment. Like yes, a website that would've taken my boss a few days to build if we weren't doing everything else took me maybe a week and a half. But knowing I could now figure out what's causing my code to fail and fixing it without AI, that's pretty cool.

Dude, I'm vibing high key right now. Got lofi playing while I'm waiting for the rain to calm down so I can run into the office, sipping a black sesame seed latte my wife made? Life's alright :)

Dude, I don't know what sparked it, but damn if I'm not happy to see more Kirby Avalanche on my timeline. That was the introduction to Puyo for me, and it deserves all the love it gets.

100 million roadies have the opportunity to do something truly hilarious here

Psychonauts and Costume Quest maker Double Fine has launched its new game development Kickstarter project after cutting ties with Xbox, and says it'll make Brütal Legend 2 if it raises an impossible-sounding $100 million. https://bit.ly/4gK2wXK

Taking a chance with a side project to throw myself kicking and screaming into Linux. Currently am rebuilding my streaming setup to make better use of my existing equipment while integrating new pieces, so I've got Nobara loaded on a USB ready to deploy when I get home

Honestly, it's not the first time I've used Linux; I've built a lot with RPi's and my NAS has a few flavors for containers I've got running on there. Blessed be docker. But making the final jump for home OS has always been a hold up for me. Don't know why.

Think it's mainly the idea that I work in IT/Cybersecurity all day, that when I come home, I just want something to work lmao Like, I've built security around everything that I'd be concerned about, but damn if I hate all this AI junk getting slammed more into Windows by the day

Man, I spent like two hours building this little dude, and I'm still debating if it was the best or worst $20 I've ever spent. Because on one aspect? CUTE KIRBY, I BUILT HIM!!! But on the other? Bro, I've never done a puzzle with so few pieces for that long.

Nothing scares me more than being at a business conference and hearing leaders say the phrase, "So I gave it entirely to Claude! I don't know how it works, but it works!" Then proceed to give a two hour presentation about how little they know about AI or Data Governance, but it's a money maker!

Like, this is what should scare you about the current market: People who have no clue whether the information is correct or secure are making the hiring decisions. They put blind faith into something that may not function tomorrow with no documentation, reasoning or anything.

It's like, yes, if you have a properly built system using clean RAGS, correct MCP mappings and limitations, sure, I can absolutely see this for the data they're working with. But to say "Yep, I'm working on giving full write access to my database now!" Hoo boy. Hoo fucking boy. You do you, boss.
