The despicable, cowardly and corrupt actions of Trump towards Ukraine will besmirch the United States of America for decades. Under Trump, we are sniveling toadies to murderous oligarchs, more interested in personal riches than preventing mass slaughter of innocent civilans.

Broken record: This administration is a trust fund kid spending down accounts it did not fill, does not understand how to replenish, and naively imagines to be inexhaustible.

Trump will do to the US what he has done to every org. he has gotten his hands on. He is going to waste every resource he was handed: 1) The US Treasury will be MUCH deeper in debt, 2) Our strategic oil reserve will be close to empty, & 3) Our armament stocks will be exhausted. Its what he does.

China totally had Trump's number, it was never going to agree to any deal that would alter the US' steep decline under Trump, and realized that Trump would accept some pomp, some circumstance, and some flattery. It will stand aside and see how low Trump will take us.

Trump lost the war to Iran. So does he criticize Putin for helping Iran win? No. He criticizes Europe for not being part of his defeat.

Seriously, countries around the world should be lining up to negotiate deals with the USA while Trump is still president. The guy who put his name on a ghostwritten “Art of the Deal” is the worst negotiator ever seen on the world stage. Watch Iran pants him several times over the next few days.

Maybe, in the next two weeks before our mad king again threatens to bomb civilians back to the Stone Age, we could make some progress on releasing ALL of the Epstein Files?

The jaw dropping detail of this piece. down to who sat where when Bibi made his hard pitch for attacking Iran, can only mean that there are multiple high level persons in the White House only too happy to sing to the "failing New York Times." Only Vance (who I loathe) consistently opposed the war.

Ha! These people are so full of shit, I don’t know how the country accepts our leaders just talking out of their ass on a daily basis.

BESSENT, one month ago today: “.. 2025 was about setting the table. 2026 is going to be a banquet for the American people. The economy is taking off.” @cnbc.com

I hope General Dan Caine can persuade Trump that indiscriminately destroying Iran's power plants is a bad idea and unnecessary. I fear Trump's narcissism won't allow him to course correct or do anything that implies he F'ed up or that Iran has any leverage over the US. Hopefully he TACOs.

The Pentagon is currently run by Pete Hegseth, who was escorted out of his National Guard unit in 2021 after being deemed an "insider threat." He reports to Donald Trump, who dodged the draft five times, once by lying about his medical condition. Only the best people run our military!

What a joke, minutes after claiming that "he won't get bored" with the Iran assault, he turns to admire his drapes...and then opines that he deserves the Medal of Honor Why have SNL when this guy beclowns himself daily? bsky.app/profile/atru...

Trump: "See that nice drape? When that comes down right now you see a very very deep hole, but in about a year and half you're gonna see a very very beautiful building. In fact, it looks so nice I think I'll leave it and save money on the doors. I believe it will be the most beautiful ballroom."

Ms. Ioffe has it exactly right, and that is why Trump has failed to enunciate a clear objective for our unprovoked attack on Iraq. This does clear the Mideast of threats to Israel, which is great for Israel, but I fear that the gullible Trump has again been manipulated to do the bidding of others.

If it isn't clear by now, no one is more easily manipulated than Trump. A golden bauble, a shallow short term win he can brag about, some obsequious praise, or a whiff of personal gain is all it takes to get him to sell the long term interests of the USA down the road. www.wsj.com/world/putin-...

CDC to Americans: drop dead

Dr. Lucky Tran@luckytran.com

The CDC has turned off its vaccine search tool. The vaccines.gov site now gives an error when you enter a valid zip code. They also removed text saying “Vaccines can help you stay healthy” and added a banner saying the site is being updated.

Xi knows now is the time to get concessions on Taiwan. Trump will sell Taiwan for a red carpet and some soybeans, but still has the power and sway to defend a bad (for US and Taiwan) deal, at least with the Republican Congress. That window is closing soon, certainly by the midterms if not before.

Trump just basically cratered Apple's business model. Apple announced a previously planned $500 million investment so Trump could claim credit, and then donated $1 million to Trump's inauguration comm. Apple showed weakness to a mobster running a protection racket. Never show weakness.

What makes the incompetence so much worse is the absolute refusal to ever admit a mistake. This administration can never improve or correct anything when Trump's personal narcissistic inability to admit error infects the entire administration.
