Delta is still helping ICE and there are still 2 flights moving our friendals and neighbors out of MN each week, so we're back at it again across from baggage claim 10 at MSP until 10pm tonight.

A big fist bump between Signature Aviation's fueler and the Eastern Air Express captain flying yesterday's ICE Air flight at MSP. They took away 24 shackled migrants from their homes around the Twin Cities. If a loved one may have been aboard, full video is here: youtube.com/watch?v=1-xmZiNEhC4

We’ll be back at the airport volunteering with Minnesota 50501 at the freedom of expression booth across from bag claim 10 at MSP’s Terminal 1 tomorrow afternoon/evening. We’ll also be there Sunday, Nov 15, 22 and 29, 2-10pm.

We're approaching the one year mark on our near real-time coverage of ICE Air at MSP; if you'd like to help cover our volunteers' parking fees, or provide camera gear to other observers across the country, we'd appreciate your financial support: ottergoose.net/ice

We’re raising money to help volunteers across the country document ICE flights. This helps with accountability, advancing policy, and demostrates to detainees, and their loved ones, that they’re worthy of being counted, and are cared for by their community. Please help: ottergoose.net/ice

Nationally, with respect to ICE Air, this story from Gillian Brockell is a big deal. Check out her thread, it's unbelievable 👇

HOLY SHIT. In a sworn statement yesterday, an ICE agent told a federal judge that an ICE flight to Equatorial Guinea had been cancelled and so couldn't be used to bring Ahmed Soliman back to the United States. The plane just landed in Equatorial Guinea. prospect.org/2026/10/23/t...

Back in Minnesota, our airport authority continues to congratulate itself for not alienating the federal government during Metro Surge - a level of bullshit that I still can't put into words - what a bunch of fucking weasels.

Nick Benson@ottergoose.net

Our airport authority, the MAC, patting themselves on the back this week, because of the great job they did not alienating the federal government during Metro Surge. Think of all of the uncomfortable conversations MAC and Delta avoided, as our neighbors were hiding or dead. Courageous, to be sure.

Here in Minnesota, the trend of more people being shuffled into MSP continues to worry me, and it seems to be something that's difficult/impossible to get reporting on. Why are these people coming here all of the sudden? Is it related to Appleton? Where are they going?

Hello, new followers. I track ICE flights and third-country removals at @prospect.org. This is what the ICE Air operation looked like yesterday, Oct. 23, 2026. --88 flights --14 removal stops --3 third-country removal stops --Nearly all adult passengers shackled at the ankles, wrists & waist.

Pathetic. “We didn’t lie because the ICE flight that landed there was a regular deport and not a third-country removal”? So what! They’re the same flights! The other two stops are still TCRs. And once again, ICE provides someone without personal knowledge. ICE is playing in the judge’s face.

MAC's position, unchanged since the beginning, has been to defer any questions to DHS, and let faith, community, and labor handle the tough talking points. When given opportunities to help the public, with the small amount of leverage MAC has, they lectured us for our tone and disunity.

ICE flights have deported Somalis three times in as many weeks. It’s unprecedented.

Mark Jacob@markjacob.bsky.social

I’m alarmed that more people aren’t alarmed by Trump targeting Somali Americans and labeling them “garbage” and “crooks” who “contribute nothing.” Most of them are U.S. citizens, yet Trump says, “I don’t want them in our country.” If you know history, you know the horror this can lead to.

An ICE Air flight (GXA6121) that departed Alexandria, LA at 8:30 am local time today, is currently en route to Cap-Haitien, Haiti, expected to arrive at 12:40 ET. Deportation flights to Haiti have been taking place once a week since Aug. 20.
