I’m so tired of this damn distro. Tools I’ve been comfortable with for years are now getting the boot from me because they contribute to these overhyped, agentic-made dotfiles. And that’s not even speaking on DHH...

This. I’m proud of figuring out my own solutions to problems - crafty optimizations, hierarchies and architecture that make sense, and **comments**. The most I like AI in my coding is to ask about some poorly documented API, but from there I’m still gonna fight with it and write it myself.

After over a decade of playing with Immersive Engineering, I was today years old when I learned you **don't** have to click right here anymore.

Moved from (self hosted) GitLab to (self hosted) Forgejo, got rbw-quick-access set up with an automatic build workflow, AND set up two self-hosted runners (one for Linux, one for macOS) all in just the span of two days. Oh, and re-organized the rack. Pretty good use of my weekend, if you ask me.

Genuinely, this is what bothers me the most, it's fundamentally changed my relationship with art where I'm greeting it initially with skepticism and scrutiny, I never want to feel that way about art.
