Pestilence: there can only be four horsemen of the apocalypse Famine: so, one of us needs to go War: well, I know who I’d choose Gary: you thinking Death too?

This is just strange behavior, even from a dementia patient. Trump stops and waves. The camera zooms out to reveal that there’s nobody in the direction he’s waving. Apparently, he’s waving to the ghost of Lindsey Graham.

eBay users! Don't ignore today's email, even though it looks like a boring standard update to the User Privacy Notice. They want to use your data to train AI models. If you click the link over the words "the right to object", it takes you to a page with a toggle button letting you opt out.

Once again… This is not a vetting problem. This is a Reform problem. This is a Farage problem. Only grim losers like this are going to sign up to a racist, misogynistic, extremist, mass-deportations and tell-the-Royal-Marines-to-murder-people-at-sea kind of party. www.itv.com/news/2026-10...

Imagine working for Starlink in TX, CA & WA, going home to your own family at night knowing the product Musk sold to Ukraine for battlefield Wifi use is now being turned off so Putin can murder children in Kyiv. There must be some kinda ‘paper trail’ in your offices. Leak it now.

The editors of The Express are utterly reprehensible. Andy Burnham teared up when having the courage to pay tribute to his dad, just two weeks after he died, in front of thousands of people. And they use it to attack him. They are devoid of basic decency and humanity. Poisonous for our discourse.

His action in slashing the boat must be a crime, surely? He went out with a weapon intending to do criminal damage, no?

Jon Anderson and band last night. Some old school Yes combined with new material. What an amazing (unique) voice, 81 years old and sounded effortless.

For my friends and contacts in the UK - a crucially important question: How worried are you about big money in British politics? See below for the survey.

Good plan, Australia and Canada. Huge sigh, UK. How long do we wait, how much do we lose, how stupid do we have to be?

Best for Britain@bestforbritain.org

Australia and Canada are leading the way - they are choosing closer ties with the EU. The EU is our closest partner. The UK government should put EU membership on the table. It's really a no-brainer.

No, we're not wondering, the Liberal Democrats have been screaming about this for years, and you ignored us. Don't pretend this is new information to anyone, you clowns.

£72M in donations from crypto billionaires to Reform UK has Westminster wondering: should political donations finally be capped? London Playbook has the latest. 👇

Yet another begging bowl email from the Labour Party this morning. ‘There is no pretending about the scale of what we’re up against.’ If only you guys had a massive majority in Parliament and could pass legislation to protect our democracy from ‘what we’re up against’.

If you haven't yet, and are able, please donate!

Dee Lomas@deelomas.bsky.social

The RNLI volunteer has told us that donations usually run at £20,000 per day. Currently running at £100,000 per day! Bloody brilliant!

Oops - I just seem to have made the same mistake. Also I seem to have added Gift Aid. Do be be careful everyone.

Parts of this really should not be difficult. You *can* have legitimate concerns about a lot of things, and protest about them peacefully. What you *cannot* do is mask up, join up with 300 others, and block roads, burn houses, and threaten people.

90 years ago, Parliament responded to the rise of Oswald Mosley's Blackshirts by passing the Public Order Act, which banned political uniforms, private militias and the threat of force for political objects. The debates make very resonant reading today. Here's the Liberal Robert Bernays. (Short 🧵)
