I wanted to show off our regular route to school. I don’t feel like the protected bike lane is separated enough for my son to safely ride it but last winter the snow banks made it *just right* for a day. I’m hoping Milwaukee is able to create bike lanes that are safe for him year-round!
Hi Bsky!!! We're excited to be here and hope to continue to grow our outreach and education opportunities with you all. Give us a follow and a repost and let us know your favorite place to ride a bike!
Yelich drew a walk and then Wild Bill got a hit and then Turang got a hit and then Mitchell got a hit and then Pratt doubled and then Sal doubled and then Hamilton got a hit and then Chourio doubled and eight runs crossed the plate and that all really happened.
I don't really want to comment too much on the politics of the Brewers in the World Series (kinda think it should be Switzerland of sorts rn), but it is quite the time to be running a "Milwaukee sucks" campaign when people from all over are falling head-over-heels in love with Milwaukee.
I’m just so happy for the city of Milwaukee right now. This town has to put up with so much, and a lot of it is unfair, and it just makes these moments where people come together and celebrate this place that much more special. Because this is just such a great city. I love it.
Just remember kids, no matter how hard he throws one tonight, Jacob Misiorowski will only have made the second fastest pitch during the World Series.
The fastest pitch came in 1982 when Ernie Von Schledorn asked in an ad aired during the World Series “who do you know wants to buy a car?”
About to just wear my catcher’s mask and a yellow brewers shirt to dress up as Contreras for Halloween because his double plays must be the scariest thing for the rays right now with
The Brewers always have room for one more team in the 2026 baseball graveyard… and this blue one looks like it’s just the right size for the letters “TB”
I bought $100 of foam tombstones at Menards earlier so I can put each NL baseball team’s logo on them in the yard. Glad the brewers didn’t make me return them 😂
Every time I travel to a Big City, I’m struck by how the tourist transit experience is integrated on smart phones. Here in DC, I got a pop up on my iPhone explaining how to add a transit pass. No new app to download or system to research. I’d love to see @ridemcts.bsky.social get in on this.
I assume Google and Apple have some sort of program for transit systems to apply to? Maybe there’s a “must be this tall to ride” rule about system size
The Milwaukee metropolitan area is smaller than Portland’s by about a million but we seem to be ~40% more dense?
Maybe this just means we all need to vote @davidcrowley4wi.bsky.social to save MCTS and get the smart phone-enabled transit future that I was promised by Star Wars novels, I don’t know.

MCTS recently added tap-to-pay for credit card payment, so maybe it’s not necessary at all, but I think NYC or SF had a phone pop up explaining that I’m already good to go for transit with my CC. In a world where Uber (mostly) just works, there’s a gap for city transit systems to get in on the tech.
The other side of this is the fact that even at 9pm there was a train running about every 8 minutes from the airport towards my hotel, which is a much different experience than Milwaukee’s airport Green Line headways of 20ish minutes. But one thing at a time, the phone popup feels easy?
on the bright side, the constant wind over here coming off the lake is warmer than the ambient air, so you don’t really notice it like we do during the spring games
Do you have a special story about the night the Brewers clinched the NL pennant? Where you were. Who you were with. Who you were thinking about. Anything.
Send me an email with your hometown and a photo. Adam dot McCalvy at MLB dot com.
we should be framing the Jake Bauers insurance story as pro-player and anti-lockout
these are not all millionaires a lot of them are guys who need healthcare for their families and are tied to a job
just like you
sent 60 bucks to my sister in LA so she can watch the Brewers sweep the Dodgers and make it to the World Series. This ticket prices are unbelievably low
