Any White House or POTUS that describes any American as an “enemy” based on how we talk or write about any tech isn’t just unconstitutionally seeking to chill our speech, but degrading the institution they steward with petty authoritarianism. Congress should censure Trump.

No science fiction could have prepared us for just how stupid the end of the world can be. "The environment was on the brink of collapse, and so, rather than deal with that, we burned what fuel we had left getting computers to scam each other for money."

Many years ago, I was present at the inception "origin story" moment of OONI. It has more than lived up to all the expectations that were had, not because of some breakthrough techh, but because of the diligence, thoroughness, and deep collaborative nature of their community.

It's kinda weird how the internet was always lauded as the greatest repository of information ever. And now enshitification has led us to a point where having a set of encyclopedias from before like 2022 might be a pretty good investment

The Albanian people have been massively protesting for several consecutive days against slumlord crook Jared Kushner and Crimestress Ivanka seizing land in their country to the sum of billions of dollars to build a trashy resort. I hope they don’t stop until their evil corrupt deal is reversed.
