In a sign of the decline of our country and the rape culture that defines the Trump era, these men have already paid Epstein client Alan Dershowitz $1 million in search of a Trump pardon. Facts. I hate it here. We can do better.

I understand. But grant me that “butt nekkid“ has descriptive panache.

We acknowledge that no one has the bandwidth for this, but if it helps: -It’s ‘sleight of hand’ -It’s ‘bated breath’ -It’s ‘lo and behold’ -It's 'buck naked' -It’s ‘brass tacks’ -It’s ‘free rein’ -It’s ‘toe the line'

Let’s get real. The highest demand for “Warhounds” won’t be from the military. It’ll be the guy down the road with 87 guns looking for his next sexy lethal weapon, homegrown militia going to the Capitol to shred lawmakers in January, Homeland Security, businesses wanting the *Ultimate Guard Dog*….

“I think America is big enough for all of us. [JD Vance’s] view of America is small. It's small like him.” A lot of money quotes in this @gregsargent.bsky.social interview with @abdulelsayed.bsky.social, but this is the best one in my view.

A rally attendee said, “His dementia’s gotten so bad he forgot he’s in the closet.”

The New York Times@nytimes.com

“A handsome guy, very handsome guy.” President Trump has been stumping for Republican candidates across the U.S. during a high-stakes midterm campaign. In remarks at recent rallies, he has been quick to emphasize men’s physical appearances — gushing about them or criticizing them.

I think people need to make this comparison RIGHT NOW. Is Elon paying $300M to elect right wingers bc otherwise they'll denaturalize and deport him? Probably not, but if their voters learn he is, it might make the $$ creepy. [Tho I think people need to focus on the child porn Grok makes]

She’s got one, maybe two more shots at getting it right. Women in Trump’s orbit are there only to make him “look good.” To make it look as if beautiful women flock to him, and if they have a real job their weakness or humiliation makes him look bad. Kim G. was on a red-eye to Siberia last night.

Non-zero chance Elon cut Starlink on his own bc the last thing the Masters of the Universe need is for people to understand data centers can be bombed.

I absolutely love the contrast between Bluesky and 'the other place'. Over there, one is surrounded by bots, chaos, anarchy, and general dystopian vibes. Over here, we are in a quaint countryside village having scones in front of the fire whilst petting our cats. I think we are in the right place.

Yandex attacks. Another argument against data centers. Many rural people feel “safe” being away from cities, a likely target in warfare conducted with ballistic missiles and other ranged systems. Not so safe anymore if there’s a big data center in your sleepy little rural paradise.

Well, yeah. Trump is ramping up because Putin is tightening the screws on him, particularly re: Ukraine. The election looks bad for the GOP. Putin may need Trump to enact Russia’s remaining agenda before the new Congress is seated Jan. 3. Anticipate strong U.S. military involvement.
