Getting in a waymo that hasn't rotated its certstore and getting repeatedly sprayed with the "no hookups" spray by a script kiddie in idaho

Not enough people know that a trans woman forked Farcaster to save it from evil capitalist libertarians and is currently winning the fight. Follow @cassonmars.bsky.social or better yet go install Quorum messenger and learn about hypersnap.org the truly decentralized fork of FC's snapchain

you can join pretty easily with quilcast.com. another app made by a community member deployed a really nice client on hypersnap. There are a couple others - even working on one myself for artists

A game-changer, not just for civic life in London, but for the idea of street transformations for people all over the world.

Ding ding fucking ding.

I bought my first calligraphy pen when I was 35. Practicing making uniform strokes in a circle became part of my daily practice. I've made hundreds but sold very few of the physicals. I would love to fill a gallery with them someday. If you want to support the journey I'm open to offers and trades.

Turns out, Elon Musk’s pimply minions didn’t actually want to cut government spending. They wanted to get a piece of it for themselves. trib.al/sGuO2y5

Three in the front, seven in the back is hereby known as the people's gears. We will not be taking comments at this time🚲🚲🚲🚲🚲

There are so many things wrong with this, but the thing that really bothers me is the school’s severing of the kid from her own imagination, which is *the main thing* that a 6 year old should be growing.

Day 87 of #blender3d dailies

1/13 When I joined The Forkiverse earlier this year, after listening to a podcast collab of Search Engine and Hard Fork, it was for me the perfect way to get back into the open social network Mastodon. The hosts of the shows were also perfectly clear: this was an experiment, and long term support

Is there $20-$30 worth of work I can do for anyone? Animate something for ya? Fix a 3D thing? Render out your logo made of cheese?

lol they sold Farcaster to Balaji and he immediately fucked it

Farcaster by far. Signing a social contract to continue posting, kicking people off retroactively, moderated by AI. Done in such a terrible way. bluesky is my new home I guess, might give nostr a whirl again but it's full of bitcoin maxis so not sure how long I would last.

Meanwhile, in Farcaster... It's weird that they call it a "vote" but it's basically a new ToS that if you don't agree to, they kick you out. Democracy - except for those who vote "incorrectly" 🤣

Farcaster as I knew it is dead. I've written more words than the new owners are worth, so this is the note where it died — closure, not a eulogy. Everything I wrote while it still felt like home now has somewhere to point. 👇 https://eirrann.art/studio-notes/f/farcaster-as-i-knew-it-is-dead

testing testing this post is being sent on farcaster, bluesky, and mastodon using the client I built

Any Farcaster people here? #farcaster

A combination of two factors led to my having forgotten, today, that Pattern Recognition mentions the Curta calculator having been designed in Buchenwald: (1) I haven’t fully reread PR since writing it, (2) septuagenarian CRS. (Can’t Remember Shit, alas.)

I do love doing calligraphy abstracts and then photograph and glitching them with Glitchlab on android. Most of these were made in 2021. And I sold them as NFTs. It paid for emergency hernia surgery when I was uninsured
