9 is good. There's a couple of missteps, but it's still great television. Principal and the Pauper isn't close to the worst episode ever. 10 is where the drop-off becomes steep. The quality difference from episode-to-episode iswild. This has been my serious response to a joke post about baseball.

If I were the Rays, I'd sign Chandler Simpson to a seven- or eight-year extension. Nothing longer than that, though, because Simpsons aren't nearly as good after their eighth season.

After I stopped tweeting my rankings of every simpsons episode, I privately ranked them and my average episode ranking for 10 was at least one point lower than it was for 9.

I like Fortune's weave. It is officially too long. All four Act 1 routes could have been significantly cut down and nothing of value would be lost. I am on Act 2 right now and I wish the rest of the game was paced like this. Bigger =/= better.

It took like 16 years, but it's the ending everyone predicted. Shame.

All of these new Act 1 routes. I can't wait to learn how to promote units and traverse the world map four more times.

Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave Expansion Pass announced www.youtube.com/watch?v=9tDR... Wave 1: today (additional weapons) Wave 2: Holiday 2026 (additional outfits, allies) Wave 3: 2027 (new stories - Bertrand/Talimun/Orchel/Anatolia, allies, classes, and more)

I hate when I see stuff like 'this version of the game sucks because they took out [speed running glitch]' It impacts like .05% of the playerbase, I don't care. ...yes, I did complain when I played a version of Mario 64 without the backwards long jump, I am a dirty hypocrite.

While I'm complaining, I also hate when people are like "I was able to solve this as a child, why can't you?" Games are way, way different now than they were back then. Players who stick to mainstream stuff just aren't trained in the same way, they don't think of the same solutions to problems.

"Hey [wife], have you heard of this dumb social media trend?" *looks at me like I am speaking a foreign language* I think I should steal her Internet habits.

Yuffie steals your carts and the game transforms into Sonic R afterwards. It's actually pretty sick

Lunar 2: Eternal Blue is incredible actually, I like it more than the first by a reasonable amount. The story hits so many good notes, great music and art all the way through, love the characters just a fantastic game. It’s on sale on steam right now if you’re looking for a good old school JRPG!

VERY EARLY Fire Emblem review: The turn based combat kinda sucks ass. It feels like an afterthought. Maybe it gets better later but right now it feels like they went 'oh it'd grab attention if we put this in there' and didn't actually think much about it. Everything else rules.

I found this incredibly endearing and heart-warming. I know most here probably aren't rooting for Devens tonight but it made me smile. #bb28

It's crazy how good MGS2 looks. And then it's like, you load MGS4, and then you can't believe how good it looks either. And now I'm starting MGS5 and jesus fucking christ.

Hey as an artist it's really fucking cool and awesome that "looks like AI slop" has become such a normalized insult for works created by humans. Fuck off.

A good way to create AI apathy in me and others is to continue saying stuff you dislike looks like AI. Keep it up, you're making a lot of progress today.

I played FFXVI at the worst time. I got super busy right before beating it, so I'm worried that I'll forget all the important stuff I wanted to say when I finally get to actually write it.

This raises too many questions. Uncomfortable questions.

Pete Crow-Armstrong on the non-balk call: "They’re out there every day like we are. Their one job is to get calls right, and if they get it wrong, they're supposed to talk about it, figure it out, and get it right. And they didn't. ... I think they find new ways to screw something up every day."

Crew chief Alfonso Márquez, via pool reporter, acknowledged umpires missed balk call on Dbacks' Eduardo Rodríguez in 6th that would've brought home Crow-Armstrong from 3B for 1-0 Cubs lead. "We just didn’t see it. After looking at the video (postgame), it looked like he stepped off," Marquez said.
