In light of Trump's duplicity and collusion with Russian aggression, more towns should add the flag of Ukraine to their municipal displays, imho.

Mark Mucci@mlmucci.bsky.social

Took this photo this morning on the lawn of the Municipal Building in my little town of Maplewood, NJ, showing the Ukrainian flag (which has been displayed for the past three years in support). As I left, I passed a woman who told me, “I’m here to take the same picture.” I live in a great town.

You really need to work hard to be the most obsequious member of Trump’s cabinet — by, for instance, eating lunch at Cheesecake Factory and alerting Fox Business, so they can interview you in defense of Obama’s joke about the White House decor. Well done Secretary Bessent! Your move, Doug Burgum!

Scott Bessent was a good little toady and pretended that Obama's “He’s got the White House looking like Saddam Hussein opened a Cheesecake Factory” was a swipe at the Cheesecake Factory. Bessent knows it wasn't, but he has to smack his hands together and play along.

Trump ran for president to give himself immunity from his many crimes, increase his net worth exponentially by obscenely profiting off the presidency, and ensure that he could get away with cheating on his taxes in the past, present and future. Oh, and to build a ballroom.

This is a lesson (about not choosing to vote) which unfortunately could have been learned based on pre-2024 results, and will still not be learned by too many people.

I'm not a professional theologian, but if anyone told me that you could have "Christianity" without "empathy" for others, I would suggest that they go back and read some of the basics - the Beatitudes (bible.usccb.org/bible/matthe...), Matthew 25 (bible.usccb.org/bible/matthe...), etc.
