It's even more angering to me when other trans people will see "cringe" trans art and say that it's "setting the community back" or "making us look bad". Actually transphobes are going to hate us no matter what, you're just miserable and want everyone else to hate themselves like you do

It's really important to pay attention to the fact that Lula beat the fascist candidate not by compromising and trying to meet fascist voters in the middle, but by sticking to his guns, promising prosecutions for election interference, and mobilising his own voters to turn out in greater numbers.

Lula winning is great for the planet, great for Brazil, and great for people who aren't revanchist assholes everywhere in the world, but let's not forget that it's also going to make some of the worst people on Earth extremely sad and mad. We should enjoy that, as a little treat.

USIANS PAY ATTENTION!! WE BEAT META, WE BEAT YOUR BIG TECHS!! IT IS POSSIBLE!!

President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva came from behind to win Brazil’s runoff election, halting a right-wing wave sweeping Latin America and defying predictions that the 80-year-old political veteran had finally reached the end of his extraordinary career. bloom.bg/4BsvV24 📷: Maira Erlich/Bloomberg

Lula has been reelected president, Brazilian media has now called. An extraordinary comeback for the left-wing politician who trailed by 2 points in round 1 but managed to hold off Flávio Bolsonaro, the former president's son.

HALLOWEEN ADVENT DAY 2 ✦ ONE LAST SHADOW "The subject seems to have an intense disdain for darkness. Lucky, then, that they glow."

SHE MADE A HALLOWEEN VERSION????????? also YAYYY

I need people to understand this selective good ole boy justice — the kind that protects abusers, rewards impunity, and openly flouts rule of law and equal protection under it — is Jim Crow shit, practically speaking. It's how Jim Crow terrorism FLOURISHED. Trump broadened the acceptable targets.

Culturally, we're talking about an institution where until 2015, academics were still drinking from a cup made from a skull that was rumoured to belong to an enslaved Caribbean woman.

HALLOWEEN ADVENT DAY 1 ✦ THE KILLER'S MIRROR "What a cute and sparkly subject, don't you just want to gaze into each other forever.... Huh? Why are you running!?"
