One of most interesting pro-voter maneuvers this fall:
After facing years of attacks against popular initiatives, organizers in Missouri and Montana are pushing two measures this November that'd give their states arguably the strongest legal protections in the country for direct democracy:
House Judiciary Committee Democrats on Monday released a 52-page staff report accusing President Donald Trump of being "an active participant" in Jeffrey Epstein's abuse of young women in the 1990s, and accusing his Justice Department of covering it up.

Early this year, I visited Ingram, a TX town of ~1,900, to check out a tip.

Just got info from the Jamie Davis (Louisiana US Dem candidate) campaign that a poll taken from 9/17 to 9/19 shows he's within 4 points of US Rep. Julia Letlow (the R senate candidate) in the Louisiana US senate race.
Of note, Letlow's name recognition is double that of Davis. (82% vs. 41%)

Overnight this Talon Air ICE flight landed in Liberia, a known third-country removal “host,” though it is unclear if this was a TCR or a removal of Liberian nationals. Passengers onboard were shackled at the ankles and wrists attached to a waist chain for at least 14 hours.
Sexual abuse in ICE detention centers has been an issue since decades:

After the explosion of detainees under Trump and a lack of training of ICE officers, an increase seems very likely.
