Planning out the tail a little now! I never actually thought out how her tail anatomy works in 3d, combining the plants flower with a demons spade. I'm probably going to workshop it in clay first but here's my idea for now

After a LONG hiatus I'm officially working on mariam again!! I finally got my desk, found some cheap fabric in the right color and some eye materials! Now i need to re-learn how to use a sewing machine lol. And I definitely want to rework her face shape a little and actually glue these ears together

New character'd so hard it got me into animating again. I mostly just wanted to test out his neck/hood movement and animating a snout speaking. Fun! #art #animation #indieanimation

I've been trying to add more diversity to any new characters I make (she says after posting two white cis men 💀) because I made most of my characters when I was in middle school and....uhhh, had trouble drawing anyone who didn't look like me (refused to use any references other than a mirror)

Also you don't just have to make a character and go "this is my boring human character they are (ethnicity)" you can take inspiration from cultures and incorporate them in a fantasy setting (RESPECTFULLY). I have native american inspired harpies, russian working centaurs, different magic systems-

For different regions in my setting based on the religions/customs in a particular area. There's a LOT you can do to make a world pop, you just have to open your eyes to who and what is around you

I can definitely say getting stuck in a rut of "it's just my style!" Is so detrimental to a learning artist. Drawing diverse characters is the easiest way to learn new skills. My rendering improved tenfold when I made more black characters because tbh black skin is SO MUCH easier to render well

Not to mention getting to research cultures and clothing and hairstyles so you can more accurately portray their character it's so AAGHHHH 👹👹👹 so yes new artists don't waste your formative years drawing Conventionally Attractive White Person at 3/4ths Angle like I did learn while your brain is fresh

I keep forgetting to post on here 😢 have a completed drawing of some throwaway characters we accidentally made canon. Simon, ruby, and leon #art #oc #characterdesign #digitalart

I'm making a head, paws and chonky ≈3.5 foot tail for my fursuit partial does anyone have an idea of how much fabric I should get? I don't want to underorder <:3c she's all one solid color except for a few bits which I'll just get a yard for #fursuit #furry #fursuitmaker

It's been forever since I gave an update but I officially have all the bits in place (minus ears) and some placeholder eyes. Now I can finalize carving and order fabric! I have also acquired THREE TRASHBAGS of polyfill by chance so I'll be doing a pillow motion tail #furry #fursuit

You guys seemed to like athens so I'm doing a little portrait for his daughter. Name suggestions are appreciated ❤️ (Father is Athens, mother is Hera) #digitalart #wip #oc
