The new embedded Vue DevTools experience is just... πŸ‘¨β€πŸ³πŸ’‹ The fact that you can use the inspector to easily bring up the source code location in your IDE is so smoothhhhhh...

Attachments are now out as part of Svelte 5.29! They're a better version of the `use:` actions that Svelte has historically used and let you "attach" actions like: <button {@attach tooltip('Hello')}>Hover me</button>

"You have people out there that have more micro services than users." -- Theprimeagen so True.

Friendly recommendation, stay on your following feed or other positive feeds you have. There's drama in the Discover feed that you probably should ignore.

It's kinda sad to see some places on the Internet that are meant to inspire you with images now filled with AI generated content 😐

Last year I Accidentally made 147 people pay for OneDrive, Office, etc If Microsoft had a referral program, I'd have made some money there πŸ˜‚

Landing a new client for a Web Development gig, takes me around 7 interactions in a span from 2 to 6 weeks, before they decide to proceed with my proposal. I think I can improve that, or I can start providing value during the time the clients takes their decision.

Starting prospection again, I'll have lunch with some prospects in early January. Trying to get customers online it's possible, but sometimes you have to meet in person with local prospects, that want to meet you.

Anime.js Beta 106 is out and completes the `animate()` and `waapi.animate()` APIs! Really happy with the amount of features packed in only 10KB and 3KB respectively! Available in early access to all my monthly GitHub sponsors! github.com/sponsors/jul... ❀️ Next up: v4.

Day 18 β€” we've upgraded the playground so you can better understand how the compiler transforms your code. We plan to use this tool ourselves to improve the sourcemaps that Svelte generates 🎁 svelte.dev/playground

Honestly, no matter what AI model claims to be the best, there’s always going to be another one that after an update gets a bit smarter, more efficient, or cheaper to use.

December’s been crazy for me 😡 so much work, so many tasks, and endless things to do. I haven’t had a chill December since 2021... gotta change that next year.

It's there, a less aggressive ad blocker out there? I'm looking for something that allows me to select the websites and the type of trackers I want to block, instead of blocking everything by default.

2 nice things about Svelte 5 Props with TypeScript 1. Easy to re-use types from existing libraries as props. 2. Can use any type expression for props, ie unions and intersections. This is useful if the components takes different props under different conditions.

Jumping between two very different tech stacks is not ideal if you want to improve with one of those. Sometimes you have to do it, but it's on you to make things work.

The common person doesn't think about AI models, and are so unfamiliar with the term LLM that every time something new related to AI comes, that people say "Oh, that's a new GPT" or "That runs with ChatGPT under the hood".

At this point, things are pretty much clear: -X it's not going to die (unfortunately for some) -Both Bluesky and Threads grow -Majority of people just cross post Loyalty to a single microblogging social is dead, just like in the other side of social media.
