Big thanks to @bimbo.city for gifting me this all the way back for last Christmas and calling it "the bet game of 2025" (yes you spelled it wrong, I still have the email). I still can't say for certain if it's the bet, but it's certainly one of the best.

"Öoo is an excellent puzzle game, one that takes full advantage of its limited game mechanics and respects the player's intelligence with each one it aims to teach." - @michael.jagreview.com Read the full reviöoo here: jagreview.com/2026/10/13/r...

Surprise, I'm not dead, just caught up with life and a new hobby (and possibly crippled by undiagnosed ADHD). Big thanks to @leik.games for the game code, and a huge apology for taking so long to actually review it due to a two-week vacation followed by another week of exhaustion and illness, lmao.

hey, do you play games on steam? want to do something nice for the devs of the games you've played this year this holiday season? just go through the last 10-20 games you played and post a short positive review for them. reviews are SO important to the steam algorithm, this is a good thing to do!

I'm watching maybe a dozen players bickering in MapleStory Idle's world chat, and I've gotta get this off my chest: letting players broadcast messages to every other player online might be the single biggest mistake of MMO game design, especially if you can't mute that particular message channel.

I was recently given a copy of Wednesdays, a visual novel about healing from child sexual abuse. In honor of World Children's Day, the game has been made free to keep if you grab it before November 21. If you'd like to know more before picking it up, you can read my review at the quoted post below.

"It delivers a story that’s as heartbreaking as it is uplifting, and it does so in a way that I don’t think you could replicate with the same impact in any other medium." - @michael.jagreview.com Read the full review for Wednesdays here: jagreview.com/2025/11/19/r...

I crawled out of my hole to play Battlefield 6. I should have stayed in the hole. It sucks. It's worse than living in the hole. It made me miss the dark, cold hole. Don't play it. It is bad. I wrote a review of it for @jagreview.com. You can read the full review here: jagreview.com/2025/11/14/r...

I put off playing this game for way too long, but it ended up being the perfect way to spend a not-so-scary Halloween night (yes I know I'm posting this in like mid-November, I'm slow, don't judge me).

"Minor complaints aside, My Friendly Neighborhood was just about everything I could’ve asked for when I set out to play a beginner-friendly survival horror game." - @michael.jagreview.com Read the full review here: jagreview.com/2025/11/09/r...

A plea for help. 🙏 One of the lead playtesters of Blue Prince, Iggy, has polycystic kidney disease and has only a few months to find a living kidney donor. His story, contact and donor information can all be found on iggyland.org Please help us in sharing his story and getting the word out.💙

I just beat My Friendly Neighborhood a few days ago and wanted to mess around with some of the cheats I'd unlocked during my run. Turns out starting a new game with cheats doesn't disable achievements, and accidentally triggering the ending unlocked three achievements in the funniest order possible.

Summoner is the best class in Terraria. You get to spawn a bunch of little goobers to fight for you while you smack enemies from a distance with a whip that annoys every player of the vicinity with the sound it makes. I will not stop playing this class in every run of this game.

Okay so life got in the way and I was VERY late to finishing this write-up, but it's here now. This was at the top of my most anticipated games list ever since I played one of its old demos a few years back, and I'm so glad I finally got to experience the full thing.

This game popped up in my Discovery Queue. I know train games are notorious for their ridiculous pricing and DLC practices that put EA's treatment of The Sims to shame, but having four different editions and over $3,000 in DLC when it's not even out for another month still took me by surprise.

Bilkins' was by far my #1 game of 2023, and is probably one of my favorite puzzle games in general. Clever, charming, criminally underrated, and an absolute steal at this price.

Huge thanks to @flebpuzzles.bsky.social for the early review copy. My only "complaint" with his last game 20 Small Mazes (which you should also play, it's free) was that I wished I had more puzzles with that same level of creativity, and playing through Strange Jigsaws finally scratched that itch.
