Had an absolute blast on the @jetbrains.com stream with @wordman.dev today! We talked about the Model Context Protocol, @nx.dev and managed to build a small npm example server and use it with the JB AI Assistant. Thanks for being there and asking questions! www.youtube.com/live/f6vpOk-...

Building an MCP Server With Nx, by @maxkless.bsky.social (@nx.dev): https://nx.dev/blog/building-mcp-server-with-nx #mcp #ai #tooling
Been working with this for a few days, it's such a game changer for the CI experience ๐ฅ๐ฅ Babysitting PRs and long roundtrips for small fixes are a thing of the past!
We've just leveled up, introducing: Self-Healing CI for Nx Cloud ๐ฉโ๐ป push a PR โ CI fails ๐ค Nx Cloud picks it up, creates & validates a fix for it ๐ You get a notification, review the fix โ Fix gets pushed to your PR Sounds great? Then read on ๐
had a lot of fun writing this one!! It goes beyond just the mcp server itself and pulls in some nx goodness as well as publishing it to npm ๐ (and yes, thereโs definitely a fully functioning magic system backing this whole thing ๐งโโ๏ธ
MCP servers are all the rage these days, but what are they? Better yet, how do they work, and how can I make my own? Our own MCP wizard @maxkless.bsky.social takes you through the process of building your first MCP server and ship to your user. Check out the blog post below ๐ bit.ly/4ksB1SQ
I'm going over my notes for the @nx.dev webinar tomorrow and it's crazy how much I have to update after just a month. Things are moving fast โก๏ธ
We also have a webinar this week on exactly this topic. If you're interested in learning how to leverage AI in a monorepo setting, join us! go.nx.dev/april2025-w...
There are so many cool things to do with the Nx MCP server and this is a great example! It's all coming together - Nx Cloud, Nx Console & AI ๐คฏ
We just shipped an MCP that fixes your CI, automatically! โ Get notified instantly if your PR CI fails โ Click a button and let an LLM auto-fix the issue โ Stay in your editor, stay in flow youtu.be/fPqPh4h8RJg
Super excited to announce that I'll be speaking at @renderatl.com!! I'll be talking about IDE extension development and I can't wait to meet everyone there ๐ฅ
too lazy to fill out the nx generate ui yourself? Why not let copilot do it for you? ๐ค You can probably tell from the video but Iโm very excited about this kind of integrated experienceโฆ so much potential! youtu.be/kr0tEDJwIWE
Exploring Claude Code and the Nx MCP ๐ง What if you could get all the power of AI agents and Nx right in your terminal? Turns out, it's really cool! youtu.be/ln9u-VTvAcE

๐ I've been working on something _very_ cool for the last few months at @nx.dev and I'm too excited to wait for an official announcement later this month! Here's a sneak preview of the new Nx Terminal UI (TUI) coming in Nx v21 (Not April Fools!): [Nx Terminal UI] www.loom.com/share/8fc924...
just released a new version of npmjs.com/package/nx-mcp Includes a tool to return available plugins, including local ones :) Check it out, it's always evolving
the fact that this just works so well already is crazy - but as victor said, itโs just the start! And I guess I have a deadline now :D
Nx MCP server is becoming more powerful every day. Cursor now fully understand Nx plugins, Nx vizualizers and more. www.youtube.com/watch?v=oNG9... @nx.dev #monorepos

prepping the wednesday @nx.dev webinar and working with pen & paper today. Love it!
Just pushed out a small update to nx-mcp. You can now specify --sse to communicate via SSE and host the server somewhere if you want. ๐ www.npmjs.com/package/nx-mcp
I can absolutely recommend speaking at @squiggleconf.com!! I had such a blast last year, Josh and Dimitri are amazing organizers, Boston is super fun and the vibes just all around great ๐ฆ
๐ฃ The SquiggleConf 2025 Call for Proposals is open! SquiggleConf is a conference for excellent web dev tooling. If you contribute to, make, or generally admire tools that help web developers be awesome, we want to hear from you. ๐ 2025.squiggleconf.com/cfp #boston #squiggleconf #tooling #webdev
also check out this video, @juri.dev shows the power of the nx mcp in a really hands-on way :) Great job as alwasy!
Or if you prefer a video, we've got you covered www.youtube.com/watch?v=V2W...
Building this has been super exciting!! Been working with the Nx MCP and Cursor for a bit now and I keep being amazed. Check it out and let me know what you think and what ideas you have going forward. This is only the beginning in so many ways ๐
๐ We just made Cursor smarter with a brand new MCP server! And using it with Cursor's Agent mode is ๐คฏ Read the in-depth blog post how we created a MCP server to feed Cursor with Nx metadata so it becomes monorepo aware. nx.dev/blog/nx-mad...
There should be an @storybook.js.org MCP server. Imagine Cursor changing some code, asking storybook for a screenshot of the changed component and then iterating on that. It would make developing UI components with AI so much easier.

The Nx Console @vscode.dev Copilot integration is now also able to pull from the docs! Here's a quick video showing how it helps configure module boundaries youtu.be/eBFw-my8k7w
This makes the nx llm integration way more useful! Instead of relying on outdated stuff the model remembers or just straight up hallucinating if you ask the wrong question, we'll now query the nx docs for relevant, up-to-date information and use that to answer questions. Check it out!
Get your AI assistant working smarter with Nx. Now, you can pull from both your workspace and Nx docs to get the most accurate, up-to-date answers about your project, right where you code. Get the full story on the Nx blog ๐ nx.dev/blog/nx-jus...
working through a problem with @anthropic.com Claude 3.7 & the Cursor Agent and it's blowing my mind ๐คฏ This shit is the future
@anthropic.com Claude doesn't know about the Model Context Protocol it supports yet :P It makes sense because it's so new, but still funny
proud to say I built this ๐ It's been a lot of fun diving into the world of LLMs and I'm happy with the results. This is just the start, though!
Today we're announcing an update to Nx Console that brings AI coding assistants to a whole new level. LLMs are limited by nature โ but what if they understood your entire codebase? Now they can.

AI is only as smart as the context you give it. So why not give it more? Something big coming soon... ๐ค Sign up for the Nx Newsletter to be the first to find out. ๐๏ธ bit.ly/4hADzwV
The fact that @vscode.dev uses tsx to compose copilot prompts is such a crazy choice. It's strange to see it taken so completely out of context from component rendering but it does something similar so it makes sense. All for innovative ways of applying tech ๐
Working on an LLM-backed @nx.dev Console feature right now... It's such a different way of thinking. The fact that your output isn't exactly predictable makes processing so much more tricky. But being able to build completely new behaviour or fixing an issue by adding a sentence to your prompt... ๐คฏ

Really looking forward to this. This is the second nx console specific UI we're building after the generate UI and I'm excited to see how it turns out. ๐ Please let us know what things could be useful for you or what issues you commonly run into while migrating!!
The @nx.dev team have interviewed a lot of companies in the last few months. The Number 1 issue for many is "migrations can be hard". This is how we hope to solve it: youtu.be/6fZ6t3vfoxs
my talk page from @jsnation.gitnation.org NY24 includes what looks like a description of my talk that is fully AI-generated from my recording? I see the point but I would appreciate if the AI-generated content is clearly marked as such! Right now it looks like I wrote this wall of text
