My friend Jess needs your help. Please throw some cash her way and share!

wtf this is huge. this game is an all-time classic btw

A friend asked feedback on a script and it found me at the intersection of big thoughts™ about girlhood and post-Soviet scholarship. New post is up about whether nostalgia can be reparative. Is there anything to repair for a woman who feels like she was never a girl?

this is where i note that mamdani's trans youth healthcare project has about 1/4 the budget he promised, he reinstituted homeless sweeps, etc parasocial politics are a mistake, he is not "your guy", and if he's adjacent to your individual politics that's *more* reason to ride his ass

Today is a rare day where Twitter has more useful information than this website on a very important issue, so let's collate some of the ongoing discussions. 🧵 Here are the words straight from the mouth of a student organizer who went from interning for Mamdani to protesting him on the streets:

Lastly, I will leave you all with a video of the Oct 7 vigil with Mamdani holding a stone cold face on the side of the Israeli vigil against the demands and chants of pro-Palestinian protestors, who are no longer supported by social democrats but retain the support of Palestinian people.

Ohhhhhh, this explains it. Sell the land of the West Bank in NY, that makes much more sense. www.cpusa.org/article/zion...

Oh this is great. Because my thought when people gas up the combat is that it has no synergy with the surrounding game. And even if you're like "Well Metroid isn't about exploration anymore, sorry Kay", then that element is at the determent of the action.

Xrd Replay Takeover v0.2.5 The main new addition is that using takeover on the first frame of a replay now allows buffering during the countdown frames to simulate buffering inputs on round start. github.com/ibrow19/GGXr...

Happy new Emma Ruth Rundle album day to those who celebrate

today's warm-up #fanart

"Everyone is here" year for real. A little sad but not surprised to hear this will be their last. I should talk about music here more often. Dunno how many people here would care to hear about what I'm spinning but I'd like to and maybe get a few recs from others along the way.

BREAKING: Guitar Wolf will no longer be opening for Ed Sheeran. Band issues stern rejoinder to Sheeran

This is really well done, great tour of recent history for those who might not understand the rights trans people have lost or the devastation in learning some Democrats want to entrench those losses rather than reverse them.

finally releasing a project i've spent a lot of time working on. a mod for Arcana Heart 3 XTEND which adds several improvements, including rollback! special thanks to @armonte.meltyblood.org for doing much of the reversing work download and install guide here: github.com/super-contin...

In February, USA Rugby banned trans women from all levels of one of the world’s most inclusive sports. What happened next was telling. Across the country, teams refused to comply. The story of the Baltimore Ferals, who are pushing back: www.thebanner.com/sports/rugby...

there are already more FGs out there than you'll ever have time to play in your whole life that do not give money to assholes. play E's Laf, play MBAACC, play anything on Fightcade, whatever, you don't need to wait for your favorite mass-market YouTuber to take a stand. it's never gonna happen.
