I recall a moment when a player had to rush off to change following an "accident", the cameraman at the chair tried to capture the nature of that problem. The chair umpire physically pushed the camera away, and berated him.

Had my postal vote paper for local council elections. Suspicious number of "independant" candidates, after press reports of Restore fielding Trojan Horse candidates as "independants" I'm steering well clear. True independants should litigate against Restore misrepresenting candidates to mislead.

In Wales they now do a cool thing where candidates have to list their recent party membership history. It throws up lots of interesting findings for voters. Like Dai Richards (bottom) - 'independent' candidate who has been a member of four far-right parties in the space of a year...

Keir Starmer has announced it's only right the government will replace the ambulances. But the charity deserves much further support to rebuild their service than just the vehicles. So still support this to help them build back better.

If the far-right are serious about their cause... ...least they could do is learn the Union Jack flag has a top and bottom and left and right side. Any decent copy has a pole side with a toggle at the top and a loop on the bottom to raise it up a flagpole. The cheap tat off ebay doesn't.

#Strictly Strong support for Jowita - not Ross. It'll be interesting to see how far her fans can carry Ross into the competition. I'm reminded of how Ola Jordan carried Chris Hollins to the title in 2009 by flashing a lot of flesh and doing a lot of pole dancing moves around him.

Jowita and Ross went out. In part (besides Ross' inability) because Jowita failed to give her fans much to appreciate. The frumpy Thunderbirds outfit and starchy wig did little to charm the voters. Hopefully she'll feature well in pro dances and in guest singer support instead.
