I am entirely serious when I say that this should be seen as a moderate position. It specifically and surgically dismantles institutions that did not exist pre-9/11 and assigns their functions much as they were assigned pre-9/11.

Rep. Delia C. Ramirez has introduced a bill that would abolish not just ICE, but the DHS altogether, repealing the 2002 law establishing the agency and replacing it with one focused on protecting civil and human rights.

Give me stone bestiaries. Give me lithic libraries of strangeness. Let me look up and see impossible animals, a telling of folklore above me. May carvings roar their stories as part of the transmission of the living lore. – #CLNolan #FolkloreSunday

Orwell: Books v. Cigarettes Rossignol: Orks v. Trout

This gets said constantly, but it worth reiterating: Games Workshop being bigger than fishing is important to shout about because you wouldn't know it from government talking points, which are rarely about anything creative or artistic. Growth won't involve fish or steel, it will involve goblins.

loved the maps and lands and mysteries that emerged in Cartograph from @ravensridgeco.bsky.social. Check it out.

NEW REVIEW: @markwallace.bsky.social takes us on a map-making trip into new lands with Cartograph from @ravensridgeco.bsky.social Find out what directions this solo-friendly game takes and how it might end up becoming your favorite way to create new worlds for your next adventure buff.ly/IZagZ7z

Every day, I sit in work meetings involving native speakers of 2, 3, or even (like today) 4 different languages. Today it was English, French, Portuguese, and Spanish. Every day, we get an absolute metric shit-ton of work done, helping farmworkers, the elderly, young children, and college students.

This is good. Go forth now and listen.

There's a new episode of RTFM, an RPG book club podcast. @posatahchips.gaygothvibes.online joins @snaxwell.bsky.social and me to talk about weird espionage RPG FIST. We recorded this long ago. Life erupted. No idea what we said. Please listen and (don't!) tell me! open.spotify.com/episode/3rwU...

Take a break from being depressed that everything you love is being destroyed by slop for a moment and let me tell you about the beautiful symbiotic relationship between graffiti writers, train yard workers, and model train enthusiasts.

oh now, shit's getting real up in this whip

Sam has created something magical with Dice Exploder- it was the impetus for my passion for games blossoming. I'm so thankful for all the work he's put in. I'm stoked to carry the show forward! Great season coming up, and I'm thrilled to show you all what I have brewing for the future of the show

Let's take celebrating games as art a step further What if we celebrated the joy of creating games as an artistic endeavor Without regard to whether those games ever "go to market"

Daniel Wynter@boardgamefeast.bsky.social

I've been thinking on this a lot lately and cementing my thoughts on how we cover games on @omnigamers.bsky.social. Namely that there's value in discussing games and what makes them tick as pieces of art, completely divorced from whether you can/should buy it.

100% concur. I have always expressed this as, "Fly your freak flag high."

Tim Clare@timclare.bsky.social

Please get more weird. Cultivate your oddness like a garish giant orchid growing out of your lavatory. Every moment you spend moving through the world being a little freak & not looking over your shoulder to check how people are taking it gives permission to others to finally live free

these are great
