Your regular reminder: If the Russians stop fighting, the war ends. If the Ukrainians stop fighting, their land will be occupied, their leaders will be killed, their history and language will be erased, their children will be kidnapped to serve Russia.

You know what? I'm going to toot my own horn a little bit. Here are the first two pages from "Lost Worlds." If you've read "Sapiens," compare the depth of his understanding of the material he's citing with what I'm doing here.

Thanks to this cursed site I've spent a lot more time thinking about Harari and "Sapiens" than I wanted to in the last few days, but that has the effect of making me feel better about the book I just wrote by comparison, so...thanks, I guess

This Day in Labor History: November 25, 1865. Mississippi created the first of the Black Codes. I tried squint + vite + the vite react plugin, but discovered that due to the usage of gensym for let bindings, state wasn't preserved across reloads. Making the compiler more deterministic fixes this (but needs work in many other places still) #squintcljs #clojurescript #clojure
