ManCloud (Chris)

The legendary #Workboy found a new home! I ported the ROM to work on the #MegaDuck laptop (a #GameBoy clone). Not the hardware we wanted, but...it's hardware that exists! Keyboard, Real Time Clock and all. Free #DuckDuckWorkboy #rompatch on the itch page: bbbbbr.itch.io/mega-duck-pa... #romhacking

SwancolorHD v2 prototype 1 is ready to go. Now „only“ software is pending 😅

New version of QR-Paint with some fun features: - Draw with #SNES Mouse when plugged into a Super #GameBoy (building on demo by vinheim3) - Windows XP desktop themed SGB Border - #MegaDuck build with Printer support #retrogaming #pixelart #qrpaint bbbbbr.itch.io/game-boy-qr-...

#SwancolorHD V2 in the making. This version will include - a QSB for easy attachment to the mainboard. - embedded Bluetooth controller support - remote power-on/off Prototypes will be ordered in the coming weeks. @zwenergy.bsky.social @machonachomedia.bsky.social #wonderswan

First steps in a new project starts working, yay 😊

Finally! External #MegaDuck Laptop HDMI based on #PicoDVI is working. This is pulled directly from @remysharp.com pico-dmg-arcade as I'm currently unable to compile working code myself. Need to figure out how, to add audio support though 😁

I've spent the last two years developing firmware and software for a WS/WSC/PCv2 flash/development cartridge. Now, it has finally been announced and will be sold by 49bitcat in Germany. Sales start November 24th! Learn more here: 49bitcat.com/news/2025-10...

I have concluded my open source experiments with the PlayStation 1! I wanted to see if I could remove the region lock, install an open source disk drive replacement, and make it all work with a libre BIOS. Good news: you can! dogthoughts.link/posts/ps1_mo...

My IPS mod for the #MegaDuck Super Junior Computer finally got a frame to hold the GBP Q5 display. It also locks against the adapter PCB and creates a good tight fit ^^ Now I need to find a nice way to access the OSD without the capacitive-pads (inconvenient)

This huge "romhack" definitely deserved a physical copy 😁 Took a Conkers BfD Repro, added an UltraCIC-III 6103 so it runs on PAL as well as NTSC. Can't wait to have time to play it ❤️

Latest Board analysis uncovered, the #MegaDuck Laptop has a Display interface on the back. Hooked up a TangNano4k to it and got HDMI output 👌 Modless HDMI for MegaDuck Laptop incoming, I guess 😁

My German #MegaDuck Super Junior Computer looks pretty spanish right now 🤔 Might be because I swapped the SysRom with a freshly programmed AM29F040 flash ^^ thanks to @bbbbbr.bsky.social who gave me a dump to test 👌

#MegaDuck SJC #IPS board rev2: Realigned the FFC-Connector and added a JST-Connector for Battery Feed. The IDC was 1<->2 swapped. Fixed 👌 Pretty much the final version. OSD Controller next 😅

#MegaDuck Flash+FRAM Cart Work log: Part 1: FRAM Check 👌 At first the flash cart caused the system to crash completely... I therefore analyzed the memory module port to find out I missed one trace... CS for FRAM is generated via A14 and CS... I only found the A14 connection first 😅

First iteration of my #MegaDuck Flash+FRAM Cart. Unfortunately I forgot to order the proper flash (4Mbit) but that's okay. Should support all known mappers as well as SRAM saves. Stay Tuned 👌 Big thanks to @bbbbbr.bsky.social and @zwenergy.bsky.social for help, analysis and inspiration ❤️

I proudly present the (to my knowledge) first and only IPS Modded #MegaDuck Super Junior Computer 😁 I designed a special PCB to connect to a GBP Display from AE. V2 in the making 😅

Want to replace my MegaDuck Laptops Display with an RIPS Q5. In order to achieve this I first successfully attached a DMG Display I had lying around 👌 #MegaDuck #CougarBoy

Designed my own version of #PicoNES Wanted a PicoNES as close as possible to the NES ^^ Supports #BlueRetro incl. Controller detection as well as (probably) remote Power-ON (still to be tested). Final Version will also replace the µSD Module and with µSD-Slot.

Today was pre-christmas 😍 I got a lot of toys (and duties 😅) from Consoles4You . I believe I SpyderMS (codename for ViperMS programmer🤪) my old gbaHD-US will get a new shell as well 😍 finally: no longer missing the "D" 😉

Thanks to my recent haul from Aliexpress, I was able to secure a replacement Spartan board. After programming the latest firmware on it, I installed it into my GBAHD and IT LIVES!!
