PSA: if you take or edit photos of crowds or strangers with Signal, you can use our face blur tool to quickly hide people's biometric face data. You can then export the photo from Signal if you want to post it publicly. More on this feature here: https://signal.org/blog/blur-tools/

Today I saw Forgotten Island, and Wildwoo. Forgotten Island was a chaotic insane pleasure. The hangover with transforming animals and magic. Wildwood was very narnia-esque and such a spectacle to see it all hand animated. Both good. Go see

we really really need to confront and challenge those gays in the community who hold the “ew women” opinion. as the graphic designer for the all year round calendars i’m very proud of how inclusive we are of not only the big women but the big furs of all gender expressions.

Back in the 90s we all used to build games and guestbooks and host all the gifs we liked on Surefire and Geocities. We didn't use AI. We learned HTML and JavaScript.

It's times like this I wonder why I bother with anything. Why I try to make things work. Why I try to be a nice and friendly person.

Kinda sucks to sit there and no one asks you if you want to join in. I get to sit and watch other people have fun. What a life. Then if I complain I'm the bad guy for wanting to be involved and to not feel like I'm invisible.

Hey people. Do better. If you can't find it in you to include people you call friends maybe you should rethink who your friends are.

As someone who staffs two cons and has put over 100 hours of work outside con time for them I feel this. I would like to: Feel appreciated for the time and effort I put in (unprompted). Feel like my opinion matters so that I can drive positive outcomes (no matter how small).

I've been thinking since I stepped down from FWA leadership about how much furry conventions have grown, and how much we now ask of the volunteers who keep them running. I decided to put those thoughts into words, and I'd appreciate it if you'd give them a read: gomi.gay/blog/26-09-0...

Right now it feels like a small subset of people at the top get to make all the fun decisions and everyone below just has to implement it. This is fine but I think this needs to be laid out at the start. If I knew what I knew now I would not have volunteered. They survive on misinformation.

In the year of our lord 2026 I have had to write my second cheque ever because the DVLA are stuck in the past. My chequebook was issued in 2009.

People are turning down highly-paid jobs working on H Potter related productions. They are giving up six/seven-figure sums on principle, because the money raised will be used to harm trans people, including trans children. Yet you can’t give up playing a game, watching a movie or buying a book...?
