Brighton spent £70m on new centre backs - and yet Lewis Dunk has started 3 games out of 4 for #BHAFC this season It feels like Dunk could go on forever at this point. Or at least for another 44 matches to become the club's record appearance holder: www.wearebrighton.com/newsopinion/...

Trade deadline’s coming up. I’m thinking Landen Rouup, JT Brubaker, and Sam Hentges to LA for Mookie Betts. #SFGiants

Think there’s a legitimate chance that Argentina won’t be in another World Cup final for 20 years or more after Messi retires, maybe ever again.

That’s THFC captain Christian Romero holding that sign. Think there’s a pretty good chance he’ll get his transfer request out of London this summer.

You know Nike have done that rarest of things and designed two nice, popular Brighton home and away kits for 2026-27 when the best criticism to be found online from #BHAFC fans is the white shirt will show up Guinness stains too easily Read: www.wearebrighton.com/newsopinion/...

Joel Veltman came from another country 400 miles away. But from the minute he arrived at Brighton, he got what the club was all about We have put together six of his best moments for #BHAFC. (Rescuing a seagull stuck in a chimney is obviously number one) Read: www.wearebrighton.com/newsopinion/...

"Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate, only love can do that." -MLK As always, Dr. King's message is right on time. Today calls on all of us to hear his wisdom and put it into action.

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. dedicated his life fighting for equity and justice. He taught us that even in the face of intimidation and discrimination, we must never stop working towards a better future – a lesson that feels especially relevant today.

Among the many amazing/disgraceful things about America 2025 is how completely Republicans in Congress have neutered themselves.

The Nobel Prizes, 5 of 6 having so far gone to US based scientists, are a reminder of why we must stand up for science against this horrid administration. Here are some great Scientist Activists to follow. go.bsky.app/14W5Rdk

Dr. Jane Goodall filmed an interview with Netflix in March 2025 that she understood would only be released after her death.

The arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends towards justice. Except it doesn’t bend on its own—it bends because we pull it in the direction of justice. What keeps me hopeful during times like these is being surrounded by people who are doing just that.

Mets will be better without him, imo. This is a loser’s attitude to essentially say I’m better than this team on the last day of the season. Really damages his legacy with the club. He could’ve waited until November to opt out.

A wholesome and much needed TL cleanser.

California, Oregon and Washington announced yesterday they’ve created their own health alliance, saying the CDC has become “a political tool that increasingly peddles ideology instead of science.” New York, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Delaware, Pennsylvania and Rhode Island have now done the same.

"Relegation fodder" for the opening 60 minutes. "Title challengers" for the final half hour. Brighton 2-1 Manchester City summed up why supporting #BHAFC is so much fun… because you never know what on earth is going to happen next

Good news: The largest landlord in the US has agreed to stop using anticompetitive algorithms to raise rents. I pushed for this. Carried through by DOJ Antitrust in two administrations and by state AGs. We must now pass my bill to stop this conduct across the economy.

Once again, this is nonsense. Worse, actually.

It’s hard to know at this point if Republican congressmen are actually ignorant or are just deliberately fanning the flames of ignorance as a political tactic. Whichever it is, it’s profoundly damaging to the country. It would take 30 seconds to look up the FOMC and how it actually works.
