the fact that it's called cheesecake factory but it's not filled with 1940s babes in bathing suits doing, like, calisthenics by a pool is, frankly, an insult to the american blue collar worker

I bet it absolutely does not hold up, but I used to love this game, and ten way tour buildings evolved as you discovered new technology.

YES. JESUS CHRIST YES. ITS ONLY BEEN AROUND 3 YEARS. WE DON'T NEED IT. www.techspot.com/news/114234-...

Happy #LetterboxdFriday! What's YOUR #LastFourWatched? Dad movie time resumed in earnest, with some Appalachian moonshine running, I watched a prohibition comic book movie outside of a plane for the first time, tried fixing my Leone blindspot further, and enjoyed an overlong WWII ensemble classic.

2nd worst thing to ever go into JFK's face

Well, I'm enjoying the heck out of #HellraiserRevival, but can't reliably perform quick turns with my controller, so am having a devil of a time just escaping The Chatterer. Gonna have to learn mouse & keyboard controls for it.

Happy #LetterboxdFriday! What's YOUR #LastFourWatched? I continued in my Clive Barker adjacent horror watch with race/class trauma as I finished a second franchise, before pivoting back to "Dad Movies" with a bit of union busting violence with Chris Cooper and James Earl Jones.

I'm between Mr. Brownstone and Mr. Brightside. I prefer G'N'R overall, but Mr. Brightside is the better "Mr." song.

An advert as revolutionary as the Paddington TV series or anything done by hand. I can viscerally HEAR the "dow-dow-dow-dow-dow" as the post box chews down on its softmint (disgusting)

Bought the Hellraiser CE over a year ago... game released today and still no updates on tracking or anything on the game other then "were working on it" mass email...I think at this point I'm done ever pre-ordering from boss team games as this isn't the first time they have had a problem.

Spent quite a bit of $ to pre-order the Cenobite Collector's Edition of Hellraiser Revival, and have yet to receive anything on launch day. Was expecting the physical to be delayed, but thought I'd at least get the digital Steam code... Nope. Shouldn't have broken my never pre-order rule.

We have such sights to show you.

Quick and dirty makeup test for a potential Halloween costume

Trying to get used to hand wraps. This was attempt #3 on my left hand. Have yet to try on my right, and since I'm not a southpaw, I'm expecting even worse results.

Still not sure if it reads as a dirt road, but I filled it in some, & tamped it down to the board. I also added a Model T in front of the store to make it look more like a road (there's turf & weeds to come that should help), I also positioned the Gossip Tree ready to add people #modeltrains #nscale

Holy crap, I hope the @capitals.bsky.social are this fun to watch all season.

Happy #LetterboxdFriday! What's YOUR #LastFourWatchee? I survived the end of the DTV Hellraiser era with Pinhead's non-union Mexican equivalent, which wasn't the franchise nadir, followed by a triumphant reboot, and kept in a Clive Barker space to finish.

Good #NFL Sunday in that my two favorite teams won: 1. The @wshcommanders.bsky.social 2. Whoever's playing the @dallas--cowboys.bsky.social

Hey! It's Throwback Thursday kids! Here's a rare, Country studio outtake of a well-known Grateful Dead tune familiar to their live audiences. This take features Jerry Garcia, Bob Weir, John Cipollina & Pete Sears from 1970 #GratefulDead #CountryRockSunday #CountrySky www.youtube.com/watch?v=gPdF...

Dropping a link to an interesting Kickstarter here: www.kickstarter.com/projects/bob...

Happy #LetterboxdFriday! What's YOUR #LastFourWatched? Demons to some. Angels to others. I spent a week in literal DTV Hell. Firmly in the era of "cheap spec scripts, just add Cenobites!" A couple of these were pretty decent, and then there's Hellworld... Next batch doesn't even have Doug Bradley.

Muppets: Statler and Waldorf Sesame Street: Count von Count

My favorite Bat-Family reveals my age, I think. Batman: Bruce Wayne Robin: Tim Drake Nightwing: Dick Grayson Oracle: Barbara Gordon Batgirl: Cassandra Cain Spoiler: Stephanie Brown Azrael: Jean-Paul Valley

For this week's #LetterboxdFriday, Ive been on something of a spooky theme as All Hallow's Eve creeps closer, and my #LastFourWatched have such sights to show you. I decided to go to the start of 1 of the 2 horror franchises I can watch and am going to do every one, not just these that I've seen.

Tonight's #Dinner: Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict-ish with a bed of Baby Spinach Leaves instead of the English Muffin.

1001 albums #72: I like them better when they were singing about the main geezer.

1001 albums #71: Didn't realize that I'd taken such a long hiatus from posting these, so expect a massive flood of nonsense starting with some New Wave also rans.

Alan Moore & Melinda Gebbie's "This is Information" from the 2002 9/11 Tribute Anthology comic is one of my favorite comics ever – its metaphorical approach to narrative had a profound influence on my comics making. I share bits of it in class frequently, but worth revisiting on this day...

I need the most Irish anti-Trump sign you have No that's too Irish

Time for a quick bit of struggling at #VRising. Years after everyone else has moved on. I have Alpha the White Wolf to hunt.

Apparently a song called "Choosin' Texas" by Ella Langley is about to break a bunch of Billboard Hot 100 records as a number one song. I've literally never heard of the song or artist. I think that means I'm officially completely youtu.be/D00M2KZH1J0

Haven't brought food to my Sunday D&D group in a while, so thought I'd push the boat out a little bit: Slow Cooker Chicken Shawarma, Greek Lemon Cauliflower Pilaf, Marinaded Sumac Red Onions, Lemon Tahini Sauce, and feta and pitas to assemble their own...
