According to Pew Research as of 20/08 this year around half of US adults say they use chatbots powered by AI, with around 24% claiming daily use! What the fuck? No one should be subjected to this but you CANNOT escape it. You can't disable AI results on Google, all phones come with AI now. Fuck OFF
We need to burn all AI to the fucking ground and stop building datacenters. hardware should not cost this fucking much. we cannot keep up with the demand for hardware to generate and to store all of the bullshit created by GenAI.
yeah fuck this pos phone. Don't ever get a Samsung A17. I get that it's an entry-level phone, but it costs more per month on contract than the pixel 8 when it was new and that is a vastly superior phone despite it being 3 years older. How the fuck did Samsung think 4GB of RAM would be okay in 2026?
gonna return it and shell out a bit more for something i know works well

i should note that the things i talk about in this thread do not map 1:1 if the relationship is long distance. There are a bunch of pitfalls that both look and feel a LOT like taking your time but they're traps! And navigating around them is not easy because they're haaaard to spot!!!
taking your time with dating is wonderful for many reasons you actually get to know each other and learn how well you fit together emotionally it gives you both time to figure out how you can fit into each other's lives you build much stronger foundations for a relationship at a comfortable pace
i get it can be hard! change is scary! it's easy to turn away and bury your head in the sand, but at the end of the day change is inevitable and if you run from it then other people will make the choice you're scared to address for you and I can assure you that you will not be happy with the outcome
