10h ya del Escenario 1. Echo en falta el jolgorio de los anteriores, pero SF3 se está cocinando a fuego lento. No hay mucha profundidad aún a nivel jugable, pero empiezo a ver mapas más creativos y diseñados a conciencia para plantear situaciones delicadas. Por ahora vamos sobraos, eso sí.

Estaría más interesado en el nuevo Switch Sports si no hubiesen traído de vuelta la Isla Wuhu. Ya existe, la hemos visto un montón de veces, no tiene mucha gracia volver a explorarla sabiendo lo que hay, un poco como el Hyrule de TotK. (Aparte, el primer Switch Sports fue bastante pestiño)

En sus primeras horas, llama la atención su cambio de registro (más político, menos dicharrachero) y su ambiciosa presentación 3D, con los característicos gestos de Camelot. SF3 quiere que se lo tomen en serio, es menos espontáneo al momento y quizá menos creativo. Veremos, va para largo.

Para obtener el Premium Disc entonces, era necesario enviar a Sega pruebas de haber comprado (y completado) los tres escenarios vía correo, y te lo enviaban gratis. Funciona a modo de galería y sound test, pero también incluye batallas adicionales y contenido muy jugoso para ahondar en su universo.

SF3 tuvo la desafortunada situación en la que sólo fue localizado su primer escenario (CD) y reescrito su final para desdeñar el resto, pero goza de varias fan-traducciones colosales en inglés y español. He cogido la primera para enlazar posteriormente con el Premium Disc (también traducido).

Alegrarse porque un videojuego "cueste mucho menos de hacer de lo especulado" es como alegrarse de que en otros países se escatime con salarios más bajos o precarios, insuficientes para acomodar el coste de vivir de ellos / cerca de ellos. En España lo sabemos de sobra.

According to The New York Times, Xbox's agreement with Kojima was "substantially below what Xbox would typically spend to develop a premium game." What exactly would be typical, however, is unknown, because game studios are incredibly secretive about budgets. The money figures for Physint have been a point of contention, with unconfirmed reports that Physint's budget at Sony was $400 million. Sony originally announced that it would publish Physint, but the company told Kojima over Zoom that it was terminating the deal. Kojima's previous game franchise with Sony, Death Stranding, reportedly barely broke even. Sharma also briefly discussed Xbox's relationship with PlayStation, saying the two companies currently work together and that will continue under her leadership. "Competition and collaboration can coexist," she said. Physint is not the only Kojima game that Xbox is publishing, as the company is also partnered with the studio for the horror game OD.

Primeras impresiones: es Toem, pero el 2. Aunque estéticamente muy similares, creo que prefiero el estilo más bosquejado y de mayor contraste del primer juego, comparado con el pasteloso y tridimensional de la secuela. En lo demás, sigue siendo un juego muy tierno, tantidubi y chachipiruli.

Pues ya está. Una entrega muy continuista, encantadora y acogedora. ¿Hace algo mejor o diferente al original? Pues no mucho, diría que ha sido telegrafiada al dedillo y la única diferencia está en su presentación (que para gustos colores). Pero ha estado bien.
