Think about how much time and resources Google had to waste to prevent its AI chatbot from accidentally saying something that injured the president's fragile ego.

‘If the emission cone can be narrowed to more closely match the absorption cone of incoming sunlight, which is exactly what our work demonstrates experimentally, solar cells will, in principle, be able to approach efficiencies close to 43%’
A Chinese team has developed a new strategy to perovskite solar cells, enabling the production of large-area, commercial size flexible photovoltaic devices with power conversion efficiencies consistently exceeding 20 percent, the Xinhua News Agency has reported. www.globaltimes.cn/page/202610/...
:)
Visiting the fist solar project I will own. Its purpose, along with another 2-3 MWdc worth, will be to support a core company of ~10-14 people.
From here, the attacks launch.
‘At end of 2025, small scale solar more capacity than grid…2026 to date - more solar then 24/25 combined’
‘3 person house needs $4,500 of solar…7X petrol generator cost, but $200/month fuel cost’
‘grid 2024 tripled tariffs for high-usage households in 2024’
‘37-36% interest…most purchases cash’
'In months after 2022 invasion of Ukraine, cheapest hour of average day cost €149 ($165.6)/MWh in Spain, €193/MWh in Germany & €252/MWh in Greece...over 2026 window, during Israeli/US War in Middle East, cheapest hour of day fell to between €16/MWh & €25/MWh'

Still not sure what true cost of a solar panel is. China, India, & the US all heavily subsidize their manufacturing.
China suggesting profitable is ~$.10/W within their system. Indian prices are higher - maybe $.15/W. US closer to $.30/W (maybe).
India price subsidized too - not as much as China.
Don’t rely on fossil fuels…
“Bolivia’s dwindling natural gas reserves and declining exports have undermined its economy and intensified fuel shortages.”

They say you can get fast, cheap, and high quality - but not all three. Well, solar is fastest and cheapest.
Well, Germany and California are showing increasing renewable grid penetration and are showing increasing uptime. Australia too.
Sun 🌞 rises everyday.
5. Solar is still the cheapest source of bulk electricity in many countries, and the quickest to deploy, and now you couldn't stop it if you wanted to. The limits to PV build in most places that aren’t yet running into saturation effects are grid access and permitting.
‘Batteries have largely answered the frequency question. The next test is voltage stability as synchronous machines retire, and batteries with grid-forming inverters are well placed to answer that one too.’
Trump’s kiddie accounts let billionaires dump shares they can’t sell fast enough, then lock the tykes in for five years, so it’s really less a savings plan than a bailout with crayons.
It used to be, the powergrid people made their money on daytime electricity, and big money during heatwaves when the wholesale prices went through the roof.
Now, those are just sunny days, and wholesale electricity pricing is starting to fall around the world. Further ingenuity will come.
#bullish
4. This leads to negative feedback mechanisms: low wholesale power prices in sunny hours, which in forward-looking jurisdictions are passed on to consumers. For example, Australia’s Solar Sharer scheme obliges many utilities to offer a price plan with 3 hours of free power around midday.
MARYLAND — @RepAndyHarrisMD gets laughed at 🤡 for trying to blame the Dems for high fuel prices, then whines about the “first amendment” 😢
Who wants to tell Andy getting appropriately ridiculed for saying embarrassing things doesn’t violate his rights?
Fox News spent four years diagnosing Biden from the angle of his left shoelace. Trump turns into a peeled nectarine and suddenly everyone’s a privacy advocate.
Q: You said Russia and Ukraine agreed to a ceasefire, but both sides said they have not agreed to that
TRUMP: Well they agreed, you know why? Because I said 'you agree.' That's why.
The following afternoon, when #solar joined the wind, we hit the lowest gas plant output I've seen to date: 930 MW at 1 PM (sub-hourly figures show even lower around 2:30 PM). We haven't had gas burn this low since May, when we also had lots of solar and minimal demand. /2
Interesting chart, slightly off.
1. It’s solar cells, not modules. Normies don’t buy cells - they buy modules. However, cells are the global bottleneck getting worked right now - making chart relevant.
2. FirstSolar doesn’t make cells, but it’s 20 GW+ capacity is real. U.S. value 2-3X higher.
TRUTH - Zelenskyy sees that Putin/KGB/FSB/GRU/IRA’s entire global Fascist movement, (including installment of many Kremlin puppets like Assad, Yanukovych, Trump, Orban, Le Pen, Bolsonaro, AFD, etc.), starts with Putin’s global disinformation/propaganda/indoctrination/radicalization campaigns online.
With the US #MidtermElections approaching, any disruption to Russian-linked influence networks would be significant.
Automated traffic from Yandex plunged to 0.4% of its recent peak fueling speculation whether the attacks could affect Russian influence operations. 🥸

Zelenskyy: "When our strikes reached Yandex data centers, it suddenly became little easier to breathe on many social media platforms. Many people noticed it.
There was less hate, less division, fewer provocations because there were fewer bots. It's pretty clear where those bots were coming from.
