The amount of shoulder shrugging when folks give Muse their email and other account access is depressing. "How bad can it be? Meta knows everything already" is such a defeatist take. Especially disappointed by @theverge.com podcast, people trust your opinions.

I wish more apps put effort for this kind of UX polish ❤️

I saw someone doing this in SwiftUI and thought, surely this should be possible in Compose. And probably I can vibe code it in a couple prompt. It was more than a couple, but it sure was vibecodable :) Shared element transitions rock!

This Flock camera is running obsolete, end-of-life software. - It's on Android 8.1, released in 2017, support ended in 2021 - It's on Android patch level 2018-06-5 - It's running Linux 3.18, released in 2017 This shit is like 8 or 9 years old, and full of vulnerabilities.

and don't get me wrong, I think social media apps are largely dopamine casinos, but the fix is to curtail it for everyone, not just force everyone to share their ID to everyone on the Internet.

👀 Compose 1.13.0-alpha01 introduces a new CapturedAnimatedVisibility composable: It instantly disposes child content on exit, animating a static GraphicsLayer snapshot instead of keeping UI nodes alive. Our testing has shown: ⚡ ~8% faster exits 📉 ~7% fewer recompositions

Here's a 3D spin animation triggered by a long press, to celebrate the completion of a task. What do you think of it? #shipaton #buildinpublic

The steps to get started with debugging Gradle in Android Studio / Intellij are really quite simple. You don't always need to println debug. #gradle #intellij #android

``` Upon reflection, I've come to believe that quality software is not about how many features something has or how quickly it is built but rather how cared for it is by the designers, developers, and product people who work on it. ``` This rings very true https://brettcodes.com/im-done-using-ai/
brettcodes.comI'm done using AIWhy I'm stopping using AI for coding (and anything else) after using it earnestly for a year and coming to understand the harms it causes on personal, societal, and environmental levels.
Excited to see @alllex.me and team get Isolated Projects to incubating. Now it is a race to stable!
Happy to finally bring it to the world! As always, it's only the beginning. There is so much work to do to let your builds avoid doing the work!
It is awesome when you find a company really stands behind their word. I bought a PeakDesign backpack in 2016, last week a zipper broke, reached out to them, and they send me a new bag as each bag has a lifetime warranty. That is just awesome! I wish there were more companies like that.
