Elon Musk boosted the lie that James Talarico stayed at a mental hospital. Meta suspended No Kings’ Instagram account during nationwide actions. Staff at the Ellison-owned CBS News were reportedly told to tie Abdul El-Sayed to the Muslim Brotherhood and 9/11. Democracy dies in billionaire hands.

Call it the MITCH Act. If a U.S. Senator can disappear from the job for months and still collect a full paycheck, working Americans shouldn’t have to choose between getting well, caring for family, and paying the bills. Paid leave for ALL. 🇺🇸 #USDemocracy #RisingBlue

Trump has divided the country, put thousands of farms out of business, cut disease monitoring, decimated infrastructure, alienated military allies, and depleted its stockpile of missiles… Just like Putin wanted him to do. Trump. Is. Putin’s. Puppet. 😎✨

Senator Mark Warner@markwarner.bsky.social

We’ve known for years that foreign governments have attempted to influence our elections – many supporting President Trump. But the fact is, the IC resoundingly found that no foreign governments successfully interfered in the 2020 election.

The 2020 U.S. election remains one of the most debated in modern history. A review of court cases, audits, recounts, intelligence reports, and investigations shows a more nuanced picture than many headlines suggested. 🧵1/10

Senator Ossoff - “The world’s most famous sore loser will deliver a primetime presidential sour grapes address to pursue his 6 year old grievances about the 2020 election while his war spirals out of control and the cost of living continues to rise.” PS. He's also in the Epstein files

The orange felon blames mail-in voting, immigrants and felons for destroying America, yet he marries immigrants, he votes by mail and he’s a convicted felon. Funny how that bullshit hypocrisy works.

You can win an election by earning more votes. Or by changing the rules, drawing the maps, and making it harder for certain people to cast a ballot. Some politicians have made their choice.

Just 10 people have already poured $617 MILLION into this year’s midterm elections. In the entire 2008 presidential cycle, the last election before Citizens United, total billionaire spending was $16 million. This is not sustainable. We need to get Big Money out of our democracy.

I think the reason the Reflecting Pool is getting so much reaction is because it's a tangible metaphor for all the failures of this regime. It's a physical manifestation of toxicity, vanity, cost, error, and assigning blame.

AMERICAN EXCEPTIONALISM: All of the countries playing in the World Cup have universal healthcare EXCEPT for the US. We have other priorities, like pointless wars, golden ballrooms, terrorizing our people on the streets, concentration camps, and ruining reflecting pools by painting over marble.

The congressional switchboard number is (202) 224-3121. Put it in your cell phone. Use it. If you're not calling at least once a week, you're not doing your part.

Elon Musk’s DOGE cut the federal government’s screwworm monitoring program, which cost $15 million. Now, the Trump administration is preparing to spend $1 billion to combat the screwworm outbreak. Never forget how destructive and downright stupid DOGE was.

If a Democratic president started a war of choice, spent $100s of billions, blew up international military & economic alliances, then completely surrendered giving opposing nation $100s of billions in reparations while empowering their anti-US regime: Corporate Media would have justly crucified him.

Reporter David Armstrong was diagnosed with cancer and learned that one of his drugs sold for almost $1,000 per pill — despite the fact it cost just pennies to make. What he found out helps explain why our healthcare system is the most expensive in the world. Listen now: https://propub.li/4xsQGsg

Don't forget: my old Yale Law classmate Clarence Thomas refused to recuse from Jan. 6 cases despite his wife's involvement in the plot. And he's taken at least 100 gifts worth over $2 million while serving, including from GOP donor Harlan Crow. He's a disgrace to the Court.

Clarence Thomas is set to become the second-longest-serving justice on the Supreme Court. His legacy is marred by ethics scandals that highlight the lack of accountability for justices. It's past time to reform the Court. bit.ly/42Ql6qg

5 out of the 6 Supreme Court Justices who gutted the Voting Rights Act were nominated by a president who came into office having lost the popular vote. 70% of Americans support the John Lewis VRA. The Supreme Court is historically unpopular. It is not a democratically legitimate institution.
