Big Walk will not be coming to Xbox "in accordance with the Palestinian-led BDS (Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions) movement’s call to boycott Microsoft," per developer House House. BDS previously designated Microsoft as a boycott target, and called on users to boycott Xbox products in April 2025.

Games like this are almost impossible to fund with publishers or investors but are important for our medium. They're what crowdfunding is most suited to and together we can help this over the line.

MASS DEV DAY officially kicking off the launch week of this incredible space. Photos provided without context.

Had a few days in Brisbane watching one of my oldest friends get married. Ready to take this energy into MIGW even though I am keen to sleep forever.

Literally no Game Dev has liked this book.

Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow has been constantly recommended by non-gamers and I'd been putting it off due to my issue crediting but boy oh boy I don't get the hype.

I’m super passionate about translating between Publishers and Game Devs - so I’m hosting a Publisher / Investor Fireside chat. What are some “I wish I could ask” a publisher / investor questions you have?

Are you or have you ever been a narrative designer (as your official job title)? I would like to interview you for a video! Pls reply to this if you’re interested ❤️.

Running events is not for the weak and most of these venues have limited capacity vs demand of the week. Plus the fact most of these events try to keep costs for devs low, it’s a tough situation But also lets Hunger Games.

I see a lot of frustration around MIGW events selling out quickly and better ways of allocating tickets via lottery systems or other schemes but everyone seems to be missing the clear solution. What we do is in Unreal Tournament 99 run some round robin events and allocate tickets accordingly.

Last weekend went up to Straddie with some besties that don’t all live in the same city. Copped a bunch of great creatures and also saw Kevin Rudd.

wild that a pillar of rockstar’s argument appears to be, effectively, that it’s wrong for employees to criticize the company in their own space and on their own time and that they should only talk about these things in spaces HR can monitor

R* is also properly hammering Discord. It has encouraged the tribunal to imagine the platform as a series of physical rooms—filled with hundreds of people, including some ‘wearing masks’—with doors that allow inhabitants to take information into the public domain.

The Margins app has made getting back into audiobooks so much more aesthetic. Crying in H Mart was truly devastating during a complicated family time.

MIGW friends - lookin' for folks interested and available to give feedback on resumes/portfolios on Fri 9th Oct for a thing...
