My heart is heavy. Walter Koenig, our Ensign Pavel Chekov, passed away early today. Walter and I met on the bridge of the Enterprise in the 1960s, and we stayed friends for nearly six decades. When Brad and I married in 2008, Walter stood beside us as our best man.

It was NEVER about rounding up dreadful criminals. Actually, would-be criminals were hired to do the rounding up. Bullies and thugs in masks, with no I.D., grabbing and beating people. WTF?

Definitely not the worst of the worst, almost all of them have never been the worst of the worst in fact many times it’s the opposite. I have found that many, (despite their incomes being barely poverty level) to be some of the most generous-helpful people you’ll ever meet.
