The vulgarity, enforced nudism and embarrassing deaths are a huge part of -the point- of why so many of the ghosts can't move on... it honestly removes a whole aspect of the story's absurdist meaning! Vollman (boner ghost) is also like main-main cast alongside Bevins! *sobs*

I've particularly noticed this with ambient videos on youtube, but a common tell of genAI visuals is it being hyper detailed, almost painful to the eyes, and reminds me of how Pratchett always described the illusions and constructed world of the elves: more real than reality
