Little secret: my abusive ex of 8 years was the mostly-estranged son of a billionaire CEO. Met his dad a few times. And yes, they are all ABSOLUTELY just as dumb as they seem. And they are all completely miserable. Hoarding money controls their life, it's very much a mental illness in every way.

pretty much, yeah CEOs are very smart some of the smartest people alive I am sure 🙂‍↕️

The Pegasus concept by Sternbach was to reuse Ent-C parts. I was really curious it would look like if it was made from Probert Ent-C parts instead. I made really rough mock up using parts from the STO model to get an idea of the end result. [I believe the original STO model is by Tobias Richter]

Something I've been trying to vocalize about PIC's Seven characterization for a long time My fav thing about Seven was that she *was* Borg. In VOY, that was *always* a core part of her that influenced her personality. The way they write her dialogue in PIC feels like she just resigned to fitting in

And while I enjoy the queer analogue for Seven and the Fenris Rangers, I also fucking hate it so much. Star Trek's future should not be one that shows their queer analogue to be broken and rejected by society, and it DEFINITELY should not be one where your SUPERIOR OFFICER CAN DEAD NAME YOU.

anyway I've been working on a fanfic AU where Admiral Janeway becomes obsessed with fixing timeline, paralleling Annorax, because Picard is so depressing and undoes so much of what I love about Trek's hopeful future that I really can't imagine any further exploration of that timeline being enjoyable

Also still not over how depressing it is that she spent several seasons being worried about how people would treat her on Earth and having the VOY crew reassure her, just for all of her concerns to be more than justified. Doesn't help the suggestion that her Borg-ness was beaten out of her.

Stardate 58779.4. The USS Nathan Hale, prototype for the Inquiry Class "Beta" variant, performs her first Planetary Take-Off and Landing (PTOL) test at Starfleet's testing facility in Nevada. Tensions are high as the Nathan Hale thunders off the ground, accompanied by a group of observing shuttles.

I decided I was a grown-ass adult human being with too much time on her hands and not enough sense to know a waste of time when she saw it, and said to myself “hey, an LCARS Bluesky overlay would be cool as fuck.” And it is. But it also takes SO MUCH EFFORT for the tiniest goddamn thing.

k I know constant crazy scandals is the new normal, but this is a huge one. A very reasonable proposal that would immediately end hostilities while costing us almost nothing, rejected for... no reason Apparently the suffering will continue until morale improves. Don't think voters will like that...

Trump: "I'm rejecting their deal. They want to make a deal where they open the strait immediately ... we're winning tremendously. We have total control of the Hormuz Strait ... that deal would not be acceptable. They want to immediately open the Hormuz Strait."

Ya know, I'm kinda shocked SW hasn't done "Jaango" yet, like maybe have a Clone deserter paint their armor and take up his title or something. His should could be a pimped-out LAAT called "Nobody's Slave" Ugh why do I kinda like this...

More Lego baseplate 3d stuff! I started developing a set that would allow me to build in one of the inductive charging rings to light things up that are placed on it - but there's a lot of fiddling to make things click into place. I also started more moon crater space plates!

Since it's Shiptember and Star Trek's 60th, I thought I'd finally share some fleet updates! It's become my favorite way to fully relax and unwind this past year to put on some Star Trek (usually TNG) and build a ship or two or even three!😊

To wrap up the Star Trek celebrations, I've updated this “making of” feature for the unforgettable game Voyager - Elite Force (2000), created with @justjakesimpson.bsky.social 's help. 🖖 A game released 26 years ago this month. This is my most in-depth article on Trek. For now. 👀

It's done!!! Fleurana Tropical Gardens. I am so happy with this build, it has inspired me a ton and will lead to some exciting things in the future I think. Paradisa is my happy place, I transport there by building and it's so therapeutic! So many fun details in this one, I had a blast. :)

Okay I think I am effectively happy with it!!! Like so happy, actually. Kinda feel like a real artist a bit? Like Paradisa to me is my version of paradise, like an alternate world that's just pure good. And the absolute perfect medium for that is a children's toy. Now to add the minifigures...

The LEGO Ideas Paradisa challenge is over in 4 days so I have to get working on this 😬 Move the Dolphins to the fountain instead of a topiary, love how it looks! Adding Flamingo ponds too, the addition of birds really brought things to life.

The Excelsior class and it's refits are my favourite ships in #StarTrek. Closely followed by the Nebula class. It was only logical to combine the two! Thanks to @ncc-60205.bsky.social I can see my U.S.S. Endeavour in colour for the first time!

Mostly finished with the 2001/2-ear Scorpion! Will have actual treads, just missing the piece in LDD. Shot for a $40 price point, maybe $45. Also made a small $15 Hunter set! Inspired by Saber Scorpion's old design from way back then.

A few tweaks. I also recoloured the objects to give a better impression of what the finished design might feel like. The new outer ring would be substantial but de-emphasised, keeping the original DS9 silhouette clear.

What if Halo: CE had gotten LEGO sets? (excuse the Elite, stand-in for actual custom molds I may make if this project continues)

Trying some 2001/2-style Halo: CE tonight. I was thinking.. modding my LEGO models into games would be a very good way to transition to game dev and practice my skills while also advertising my instructions in an attention-grabbing way...

Okay EXTRA fun thing about this Ghost, it's actually a mod of a very old Ghost model of mine from 2013. I put a file download up at some point and still had the link. Dont even have images of it up anywhere still. Picture this as a $10 set, 66 pcs. Little pricey but it's 3 new molds in a cheap set.

LEGO Halo: Combat Evolved and LEGO Star Wars: Battlefront are both at the top of my list of possible ideas. The idea would be to port models/animations from the classic LEGO games, using my own models/stickers to fill the gaps, for an authentic-feeling LEGO version of these games, but shooters.
