Hello new followers!! Welcome! I’m Sae, a nonbinary comic artist based in Colorado. I love D&D and animation! I also make a webcomic, Anacrine Complex, which can be found at pigeoncomic.com #webcomics #doodlesonly

As an ace person I was told by doctors and parents that my lack of attraction was wrong and that I “needed hormones” to be “normal”. Im now 35 years old! The only thing that’s changed is I found a partner who is also ace. We mostly cuddle and hold hands! We’re engaged! It’s possible, friends!

I can finally share this game with my partner! (The original OOT was admittedly very clunky by today’s standards and it just wasn’t fun for him. Now we can both love it!)

I cried and cried. Saddle Lake Cree Nation is an example for all of us.

It's wild how Mamdani (+dem socialism) is considered some big threat because he does his job Like that's it. Man reminds folks that Being Mayor is a job not just a titled position of power, and it makes all the other politicians real angry that he's ruining the Job They Pretend Is Too Hard To Do

We got you. Stay hydrated, New York.

I digitized the entire collection and have made it available for FREE. Donations are welcome to help us with our big move, and to offset the cost of digitizing. ko-fi.com/s/d93ab618bd

I had collected photocopies of model sheets in college, but now they can all be found online more or less. To the recycling!

I will be seeing the entirely original animated romcom in theaters this is the type of shit I want thank you very much

Animated Antic@animatedantic.bsky.social

Illumination has dropped the first trailer for their next film Not Alone. While the film's visual style certainly does seem like their previous work, I do admire that the tone does feel different than before and I'm also glad it's original. I'm very hopeful this can work.

Dear new artists, It’s ok to trace photos to learn from them. It’s ok to copy art to understand it. People have been copying the masters for millennia and it’s a good way to improve your skills. A simple way to acknowledge this in a post is referring to it as a “study” and crediting the original.

“We used AI to eat these delicious ice cream sundaes. It was more efficient than eating them ourselves” you’re missing the point you money-grubbing ghouls

“Scarlett letter” like it’s just societal backlash that’s the problem and not the destabilization of entire industries and the lost livelihoods of creators everywhere

“The value in writing a book isn’t in the words you choose” “the value in playing a musical instrument isn’t in getting the notes correct. It would be an absolute folly to spend years practicing” “Your cake will be more unique if you use a boxed cake mix”

the animators in Who Framed Roger Rabbit? did not bump the lamp just so you can tell me "AI is inevitable"

Michelle Pfeiffer didn't whip the heads off a bunch of mannequins and then jump rope away with the whip just so you can tell me "AI is inevitable"

Buster Keaton didn't stand still while a two-ton housefront collapsed on top of him with a window cut out to barely clear his shoulders on each side so you could tell me that AI is "inevitable."

Does this news outrage you? Does it make you want to make zines? Do you want to know how, even without a computer? Here's an easy step-by-step guide by @thorazos.bsky.social. Print out the pages below or purchase copies cheap at the link. www.etsy.com/listing/6936...

They gave US zinester Elizabeth Soto *50 fucking years* in prison for publishing a zine that supports an anti-fascism stance. Prosecutors also used her feminism themed zine, and an anti-AI zine as evidence against her. This is unprecedented.

The bf and I just finished a watch-through of Gravity Falls. 10/10 top tier show, Still wholesome and shocking and satisfying. Still wondering how they got the last three episodes aired lmao
