Space Situational Awareness is critical to avoiding collisions, ensuring mission success, & keeping outer space safe & sustainable. To support this, we've designed & developed SIDLOC: a proposed standard for satellite and spacecraft identification & localization to make space safer. sidloc.org

We are thrilled and proud to announce that following its successful spaceflight last week, our 𝐏𝐈𝐂𝐎𝐁𝐔𝐒 𝐯𝟐 has officially reached Technology Readiness Level 9 (𝐓𝐑𝐋 𝟗)! It is officially flight-proven and mission-ready!🚀 🔗https://www.libre.space/projects/picobus/

Inside the PICOBUS V2, which reached orbit last week, is our #SIDLOCPQ mission! 🛰️ ✨️The mission focuses on Space Situational Awareness (#SSA) by testing critical operational sequences using the SIDLOC protocol. 🔗https://www.libre.space/projects/sidloc/

🛰️ NIS-PQ, part of our new mission onboard PICOBUS V2, has been received with the help of SatNOGS 📡

We are heading back to orbit🛰️✨! Our #opensource PICOBUSv2 deployer will fly on SpaceX's Transporter-18, inside UARX Space's OSSIE-D, carrying 8 QUBIK-based PocketQubes: 🛰️ 1 NIS-PQ (Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools) 🛰️ 3 ERMINAZ-2 (AMSAT-DL) 🛰️ 4 SIDLOC-PQ (Libre Space Foundation)

🎉4 years ago, Libre Space Foundation's QUBIK-3 & 4, along with PICOBUS, returned to space aboard Firefly Aerospace's Alpha Flight 2. #ToTheBlack🚀 As we prepare for yet another mission, we celebrate this milestone & keep working to make…𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐬𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐞! 🌎️🌍️🌏️ www.libre.space

📌Important update regarding #OSCW: Despite our best efforts to make it happen, forces outside our control have made it impossible to host the event this year. Sadly, OSCW will be cancelled for 2026. We’re shifting our focus toward next year’s edition. Keep an eye out for updates ❤️🚀

⏳Only a few weeks left before the Dayton Hamvention begins! Libre Space Foundation and SatNOGS teams will be at the Conference, excited to participate in the world's largest #amateurradio gathering! #Hamvention2026 #opensource #radioamateur Find out more about the event at: hamvention.org

Successful launch of four of our missions! On Friday 28 Nov, 7 CubeSats were launched into space 🚀 They will provide services from better spectrum use understanding and improved ship tracking, to helping agriculture and ecosystem tech in remote areas 🌊🚢🚜🖲️

📌Thank you, ESA - European Space, ESA Connectivity and Secure Communications, Exolaunch, SpaceX and IDR Instituto Universitario de Microgravedad "Ignacio Da Riva" for the support and collaboration. The #PHASMAmission would not have come true without your support and guidance. 📸: Exolaunch

This is how it all started 11 years ago...🚀 Envisioning an Open and Accessible Outer Space for all! Since then, with the help of @satnogs.bsky.social & the rest of our projects, we've been working hard to support #opensource #space technologies & enhance knowledge. libre.space
