If any artist contact you on discord to ask you for commission, reach out to them on a different platform to verify if it's really them. No reputable artist will beg for your money in your dms.

⚠ PSA to artists and clients on #VGen about a Discord scam going around!! ⚠ a scammer is scraping profiles (both artists and clients) to make fake discord accounts impersonating them, then reaching out to people they've worked with in the past who have their discord info publicly visible

at the peak of my brainworms for this franchise, I didn't have the artistic skills to show my love for it. but to make up for it, I went crazy with its lore & making ocs & introducing my friends to it it's been a long time now, but it will always be special to me, quietly in a corner of my mind.

da/me & bioware as a whole went to shit a long time ago lbr, but it's still sad to see it officially gone. da was the 1st franchise I was *truly* invested in (I must have 1k+ hrs accumulated). the first 3 da games, specifically inquisition, will always hold a special place in my heart. 💔

Begging my fellow creatives on my hands and knees to please please please repost and reuse old art. Creative work takes waaay too much energy and time to just be a thing you post as a single split second blip on some content feed. Be proud of your work. Look at it, enjoy it, share it with people.

Nothing as good for the soul as collaborative worldbuilding and storytelling and having our ocs be part of each others lives btw

bluesky is using AI, fourthwall is using AI, patreon is using AI, twitch is using AI, my tiny german internet host in the middle of nowhere is using AI - unfortunately everything tech related will be touched by this shit somehow. all you can do is disable it best you can and tell them it sucks
