Freedom is the right to choose – to choose one's beliefs, one's way of life, one's destiny. Seeing the changes that are happening in our country, right now, we are losing more of those freedoms each & every day.

Here's ICE using its favorite lie – that someone tried to run them over – as a pretext for an unjustified use of force. ICE is a domestic terror group.

Video of an ICE agent pulling a gun on a wife and mother, who is a US citizen born and raised in the area, near Bailey's Crossroads in Northern Virginia yesterday. Chillingly, they claimed she “almost ran them over” until she told them she had video proving that was a lie.

And let’s not forget the writers, producers and crew who also made the Late Show what it was and who have lost their jobs because our president is a thin-skinned thug who deeply fears the ridicule he so richly deserves.

Trump one month before the 2024 election: “Think of it - within one year you’re gonna have electric bills and energy bills and gasoline for your cars is going to be 50% cheaper than it is right now. That’s a big thing.”

a. Trump isn't announcing a pause on strikes. He's saying he's postponing a possible war crime - strikes on Iran's civilian energy infrastructure. b. Also, this isn't a message to Iran. It's a panicky message to the markets: "No war escalation until markets close on Friday".

We gave Amazon a $17.5 BILLION tax break last year. Meta got $13.7 BILLION. Citigroup didn't pay a penny—we gave them a tax REFUND. Those tax breaks didn't do anything to create jobs, let alone save them. We have got to stop with the corporate tax giveaways.

I went on Fox News yesterday morning to explain that while the focus is on Minneapolis, Trump is trampling rights everywhere. All over the country, thousands of LEGAL immigrants, including little kids, are being disappeared. That's what happens in Putin's Russia, not America.

Yesterday, five-year-old Liam and his dad Adrian were released from Dilley detention center. I picked them up last night and escorted them back to Minnesota this morning. Liam is now home. With his hat and his backpack.

Maria Santay, a U.S. citizen and community observer, live-streamed masked ICE agents detaining her after they boxed in her car from all sides and smashed her window. Local police showed up and did nothing. She was denied access to a restroom, and forced to pee in the parking lot while handcuffed.

Check out the dates of all of the posts. Total ignorance

To be so relentlessly ignorant (and shameless about being so) is also a superpower.

I've now watched the censored 60 Minutes report on CECOT. If you watched it too—and if you have any decency at all—I'm sure you came to the same conclusion I did: winning elections won't be enough; people like Stephen Miller and Kristi Noem will need to be charged and imprisoned.

This tired, deeply-damaged man is so needy. He has to have references to him being president on his hat, on his shirt, and on a golf-framed placard next to his overcooked cheeseburger he's almost too-out-of-it to eat.

Before the midterms of 1866, President Andrew Johnson called his congressional opponents traitors and said they should be hanged. Voters were so profoundly moved by his words... that they gave his opponents a supermajority in Congress, and the nation got the Fourteenth Amendment.
