RIP Walter Koenig (1936–2026).

Afternoon

May add to this later

I made a little show as an extra for BBC Radio 4 Extra (pretty much in my own time): it’s being repeated to mark 20 years since the death of Nigel Kneale. This sort of bonus (dare I say it Reithian?) content will not be possible once the station goes in March. Enjoy: www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m...

Halloween next week - so here’s a couple of horrors for you 😔

Washing machine still on

Kicking off the new sketchpad

Deeply amused by this chap - three of the deer decided to make a run for it . Not impressed by this, he gave chase calling after them. The ladies were having non of it and kept on going 😂😂😂😂😂❤️

My covers gallery for Commando cover artist @graemeneilreid.bsky.social - his latest cover, for issue #5999, is out now! boysadventurecomics.blogspot.com/2026/10/upda...

Afternoon

Gutted to learn that the composer George Fenton has died. I worked closely with him on the latest Newsnight theme arrangement. He was a lovely man and leaves behind so much wonderful and iconic music. BBC News - The secret to writing a TV theme tune www.bbc.co.uk/news/av/uk-4...

Happy #JamesBondDay 😇

Morning

My latest cover for Commando Comics has been revealed and it is part of the four new stories that will be released next week that see's the series reach its 6,000th issue. This one is #5999 Captain Starblaze and I sort of drew my first ever Superhero comic cover.

We’ll blow me down with a feather ! I was today years old when I found out Doug McClure’s daughter sang in Tech Noir in The Terminator 😳

Afternoon

There we go then - bereft of reading material after finishing All Around My Mother (which was EXCELLENT) I’ve use my points to purchased the new Bond novel …. Although i never knew Charlie Higson had his own record label ….

Doctor Who 70-79 finally live on the DWAS site: www.dwasonline.co.uk/dw7079. Includes a fascinating article by Matt Hills on the ecological arguments that inspired The Green Death, and why they didn't comfortably fit into the series format.

So after carefully painting a 1/64 model, looking up reference etc …. I’ve just come to finishing putting the varnish on and …. Dropped it on the floor 😂😂😂😂😂😭

Includes articles such this one by Matt Hills and this incredible piece of artwork by @and-e-roo.bsky.social

The man was a superb artist ❤️

Have just been informed that me Aston Martin F1 model is on the way (HotWheels, so it’s cheapish) had to do a double take as I thought the Royal Mail depot it’s at was at Llanfairfach 😂😂😂😂

Very sad to see Phil Tippett's animation company go into bankruptcy and close. The rich collectors will descend on the auction assets like greedy locusts, no doubt. It'd be nice if Lucas grabbed some of them for his museum. www.starwarsnewsnet.com/2026/08/tipp...
