Mississippi is a pretty inelastic voting state so this shows that Republicans are indeed worried about turnout being down amongst their white voters.

Same Day Voter registrations (~17k) now exceed 2022 (~15k) and are on track to blow past 2018 (~22k).

Same-day reg (SDR) in NC are all new registrations, "first verification" is just a supplemental term relating to back-office processing status of those registrations. The top six sites of 368 sites are on or adjacent to 8 college campuses, 4 of which are HBCUs.
