just gonna throw out a quick reminder that in America police kill a yearly average of 3 civilians per day, routinely in situations very similar to these ICE killings, and decades of explicit support for police impunity by US politicians is why ICE feels theyre able to get away with this right now

To the the tune of “If You’re Happy & You know it”: If they’re inciting you to violence, they’re a Fed! If they’re inciting you to violence, they’re a Fed! If they’re inciting you to violence, your best response is silence; If they’re inciting you to violence, they’re a Fed!

At this point in my career, I am thoroughly convinced that testing, developer experience, lifecycle speed, and competitive edge all come down to one metric: Ephemeral application state.

Phenomenal article on Laravel's Service Container.

When people talk about the struggles of having a newborn they tend to talk about the same 3 things over and over. But the true worst part? There’s always a random spot on your shirt that’s a little bit damp.

Sara is one of the best people I’ve ever worked with and is now just a dear friend of mine. She also has a really interesting journey to the current place in her career. Check out her story 👇

Does Horizon do this weird thing for anyone else? It's fine on initial load and when you click around, but if you refresh the browser it 500 errors until you manually change the URL back to /horizon.
