My first five TTRPGs in the order I played them: 1. D&D Basic Set 2. Top Secret 3. Champions/HERO System 4. Call of Cthulhu 5. Tri-Tac System These being the games I played campaigns in, not including games I dabbled in such as Gamma World, Timeship, The Morrow Project, Merc, and such.
My first five TTRPGs in the order I played them: 1. D&D 4e 2. Pathfinder 3. Shadowrun 20th 4. Dungeon World 5. This is where it gets fuzzy... Marvel Heroic? Fiasco? DCC? Lady Blackbird? Our little story gamess group played a bunch of different stuff and I can't keep track of time on a good day
We've rolled further on down the track…
At some point someone's gonna ask a chatbot what to do about all the people hating the chatbot and the answer will come back: make it illegal to hate the chatbot.
I'm gonna go with "For What It's Worth" by Buffalo Springfield. Seems more fitting a song today than it was in 1967!
name your fav rock song made before 1970
This is a tough one, I love a lot of classical works, and narrowing it down to one is pretty much impossible, but for the sake of the prompt I'll go with Eine kleine Nachtmusik. The version on the Amadeus soundtrack, played on period instruments with period-accurate tuning, is a particular favorite.
retconning this prompt to say composition, because everyone hates fun.

Something I just saw in the news reminded me of one of my favorite This Modern World strips by @tomtomorrow.bsky.social (from Dec. of 2022), still pretty relevant today, although it seems as though in these post-Epstein-coverup days Republicans no longer consider "groomer" or a "pedo" to be insults.
Ah, maybe even before the midterms.
I get the feeling that the "public execution" plan will get dropped sometime after the midterms. Coworker of mine suggested to me that the announcement of this barbaric plan is a trial balloon sent up to see how much can be gained by appealing to the bloodlust of the American public.

*sigh* They didn’t just write the code. They trained the agents on data pertaining to what they did and TOLD THEM TO DO IT. The “rogue” and “we can’t control this” shit is PR hype. I need Journalists to stop being the most credulous marks on the planet.
One or more human beings are responsible for the code they wrote, and those are the people who should be held accountable. These programs are not acting “on their own”
Boo to all those companies.
More than two dozen workers at three major publishing houses—HarperCollins, Simon & Schuster, and Hachette—tell WIRED that LLMs are being used for publicity, cover art, back cover copy, and emails, as some execs push junior staff to champion the tech. Read the full story: buff.ly/p0ymGmN

I'll say it again, this @viennateng.bsky.social song is way more true now than it was in 2013! This page has the song and the lyrics…

Every day I read a dozen things so grotesque, so depraved, that i could never again trust or respect anyone supporting it. But even in a crowded field this stands out. www.nytimes.com/2026/10/08/u...
