Serbia defeated a 14 year regime backed by Putin. Brazil stopped a takeover supported by the richest techno-oligarchs on the planet and meddling by the American government. Hungary finally ousted Viktor Orbán earlier this year. They did it by voting. Never tell me voting is useless.

Hahaha. Oh we all knew our special little man was seething about Obama's Cheesecake Factory dig for DAYS. Look how pissed he is!

Trump is BIG MAD about Obama saying the White House now looks like Saddam opened a Cheesecake Factory: "He's not a smart guy. He's not smart at all ... for you to say it's a Cheesecake Factory, that just shows why you were a lousy president"

Stan's long-suffering little brother. Still with us! Age 95. Co-creator of Iron Man, Thor & Ant-man, among others. Stan kinda treated him like crap. Stan made millions. Larry did not. Later he became the longtime artist on the godawful Spidey comic strip.

In "Peanuts," Linus first mentioned the Great Pumpkin on October 26, 1959, creating what would go on to become an indelible cultural icon. Here’s that strip, followed by the rest of that week’s dailies:

My heart is heavy. Walter Koenig, our Ensign Pavel Chekov, passed away early today. Walter and I met on the bridge of the Enterprise in the 1960s, and we stayed friends for nearly six decades. When Brad and I married in 2008, Walter stood beside us as our best man.

Before Lawn Darts, we had Buckeye fights. Those of you not from Ohio probably don't know that the shells are covered in large hard spikes. In the Fall the ground was covered with them. When whipped into an opponents back or legs it's (literally) a scream!

Since this wasn't quite deadly enough, my friends & I invented a better game. Teams of kids stood on either side of our ranch house. And we tossed the darts over the roof, blind, and the other team tried NOT to get impaled when they plunged to earth!

Oh wonderful. Monadnock School District, outside of Keen NH. "One parent took issue with the book’s central idea." One. It's how it works. The list of banned books is passed around via the rightwing network. A loyal foot soldier then scours reading lists. Finds a match. #bannedbooks #bookbans

vnews.comRecords show what books parents want removed from school libraries - Valley NewsA public records request revealed numerous parental objections to books like "All Boys Aren't Blue" and "My Friend Dahmer" in New Hampshire schools.

The parent then loudly issues an objection, without bothering to read the book, of course. Far too often, school administrators crumble. The book is effectively banned. This is repeated in district after district.

If you haven't read Doc Strange Annual #1, track down a copy. They're not hard to find, and I see plenty of nice copies on ebay for under $20. Worth every penny.

I had no idea it was coming. The regular Doc Strange title was pretty good in 1976, but THIS book was off the charts! When I discovered it on the rack at Vann's Drugstore, my eyes popped out of my head. Best book of the year.

Here's the thing this noxious little worm is about to learn. No matter how vile he is, how much he licks Trump's balls, or how much rightwing garble he pukes out, the racist rural crackers will never vote for him. They'll just stay home and sulk and wait for a proper GOP white boy to run next time.
