Wow. What a historic fuck up from our boys. I'm already in heads have to roll territory. We've lost so many games to situational football this year.

The discourse around Fortune's Weave is the same around Rebirth. It's demonstrably simple to me. You judge the quality of something by what you are given. It IS a negative to have too much of it. Balance is a pillar of quality. A meal can have too much sauce or too little. They both affect quality.

All in all a pretty typical September opener. O-line is still a concern, but so many new coaches that it's far from panic time. Play calling felt fine, just had a bunch of plays blown up from O-line struggles.

Connecticut, the true flyover state, nothing happens in that state. It's just interconnected highways to get from New York to Massachusetts or vice versa and it's boring to drive through. What does it contribute? No food or media. It's just the home of colleges that happen to be good at sports.

Name the U.S. state you loathe the most, I don't care what the reason is unless it's like weird or bigoted

Excited for this. I felt like Ragnorak was a pretty big step down from 2018's. I'm happy to return to that earlier timeline. The reveal concept was sick. The combat looks... rough? Not very fluid at all. I imagine they have a long way to go until we see this.

Proud of our boys. Hell of a season and we have a ways to go to take down a team that talented. Go win the cup Canes.

"Let's go Flyers" chant breaks out in the Xfinity Mobile Arena as the players go to console Dan Vladar after the loss. Lasted all the way until well into the handshake line. Full crowd.

Really curious what Commander people love in their collection that is the least played in the community (as in lowest EDHRec count)? I want to see some oddballs #MagicTheGathering

He fomented an Insurrection, likely killed tens of thousands, if not hundreds, because of how he defunded the CDC/FEMA pre-pandemic, and was the most obvious snake oil politician in the history of our lives I'm sorry you lost your family farm for your kids, but you set it to the torch yourself.

Brad voted Trump bc he promised to be “the most pro-farmer president you’ve ever had.” Instead, tariffs cut Brad’s export market; the war surged fertilizer prices by 70%. So Brad arranged his family’s final sale. “Farm is going dry,” said the ad. “Every cow must go.” www.nytimes.com/2026/05/03/u...

As someone who hates it when games have generic stories with create-a-character protagonists because I'd always prefer a curated focused narrative, this is my personal dystopian nightmare future.

Can't explain how nice it is, after all of these years, to have a flyers defensive line that knows when to skate toward the net and take skill shots and not just slap it from the blue line hoping to get a deflection.

My father in law just bought himself a new laptop to play poker and read emails on. For some reason the Windows distro was default locked to Safe mode. The CPU was clogged with Copilot processes when nothing was open. Uninstalled it immediately and it works normally.

Oh, a tool designed to yes-man you constantly is causing a ton of indulgent behavior? I'm so surprised. Yeah no one should be using these and assuming they are these genius panacea services.

AI may be particularly dangerous for people prone to health anxieties, Sage Lazzaro reports. She spoke with therapists who are concerned that AI chatbots are leading their clients to constantly seek reassurance, exacerbating their conditions:

How unfuckable do you have to be to frequent this bar?

Polymarket is opening a bar in Washington, D.C. tomorrow called The Situation Room. Per Polymarket: "Imagine a sports bar… but just for situation monitoring — live X feeds, flight radar, Bloomberg terminals, and Polymarket screens."
