Can my mutuals and folks I know who want to join my online Magic: The Gathering Commander pod DM me so I can invite you to our Discord!?

I don’t know why but I’m really obsessed with the idea of having a collection of bracket 2 Commander decks so I can play more Magic and get other people to play.

How interviewing aliens so they don't blow up Earth reminded me that we should talk to our parents more before it's too late.

Got my first Commander win and with my dad, Hearthhull! Beat both of my opponents in a single turn with this combo.

If you want to play Magic: The Gathering (and other TCGs!) locally and remotely with kind-hearted, goofy, and supportive folks, I started the Group Hug TCG Discord server. If you wanna join, please shoot me a DM! I'll send you an invite ASAP! 🫶

I have story I’m writing for next month that shines a light on a recent action title where this is game’s twist (kinda). Do you know what game it is?

This post is unavailable.

I really want to try and focus on one or two Commander decks for my Magic: The Gathering journey and I can't decide. Things to know about me: I'm just a little scamp who has never done anything wrong in his entire life. Who would you pick for me?

Today is my birthday! It’s been a mostly difficult and stupid year. But, recently has been filled with a few positives that make me happy and proud. Today I am going to get a pastry the size of my face, rip some Magic: The Gathering packs, and enjoy life.

Wonderful to learn that my family name is represented in Magic: The Gathering. I have to make a Commander deck with them, right?!

There really is a story here between the product pipeline of promotional hardware and physical goods for AAA games butting against the gap between press embargo and retail release dates.

Twin Cities people: Where are the extremely beginner Magic: The Gathering commander players at? Folks who want to have fun with newer players! (Especially if you know dog friendly venues to play!)

may be a stupid question, but what's the best resource for finding good Standard decks for Magic: The Gathering? And then how do you go about buying the cards to build IRL?

Finally played my first Magic: The Gathering game with a commander deck. It was really fun! I see why people like this format.

Working on a end of year round up of out-the-box RPGs you might've missed this year (think Esoteric Ebb or Titanium Court)... Any recommendations?

It's still so wild and humbling to know folks out there still remember Overrealmed, the not-so-serious Dungeons & Dragons liveplay podcast I did several years back. Who knows, maybe I'll bring it back?

I have a few stories slated to drop in October about cosmic horror and romance, but I want to talk about Sucker for Love: Crush Landing real quick, right now!

Charming writing, fantastic voice acting, genuinely funny and bizarre moments. This is definitely a game I'm going to be spending a lot of time with to try and get all the endings.

Excited to drop this story tomorrow morning. After playing the Duskbloods closed network test, I could not stop thinking about this game. The best bloodsucking character in the game? The sniper.

As someone who started using Notion for their game dev project management before they added all the AI nonsense, I am pleased to report that if you simply email Notion, they will remove AI from your workspace ✨💕😌💖💫

For those of you who are paying subscribes to a Substack: What convinced you to pay? I’ve been thinking it would be interesting to let subscribers get in depth access to my actual writing board to see how I pick and plot stories. Would that be interesting?
