Just realized my profile background photo still had a Gaiman book in it. Trashed that long ago. New photo is live!

This is my sister. She made this suit for ComicCon. So amazed by her talent! Yes, her post is a year old. Somehow I missed that she posted this!

I think the only thing I miss from the old site is the Dresden Files characters’ chat. Do they still to that over there?

Does anyone know how authors get paid from Amazon unlimited? If I download their book from there, do they get a cut? Is it comparable to if I buy the book outright?

Holy shiiiiiiit if you know anyone in North Carolina who may even know anyone who knows anyone who's been to an event by these people, get them to go get the rabies post-exposure prophylaxis shots RIGHT THE FUCK NOW, DO NOT WAIT, YOU CANNOT TREAT IT AFTER SYMPTOMS START

Kelly@broadwaybabyto.bsky.social

Rabies is 100% fatal if untreated. Please help spread the word about the exposure at the Farm Adventures mobile petting zoo in North Carolina. The vaccine is incredibly effective and will save your life. Also…. Rabies at a petting zoo!?!? www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news...

It’s not that I don’t write a lot of skeets. It’s just that I overthink them all and delete 95% of them. If this one survives, it’s a miracle.

Important: Trump’s executive order is NOT legislation. Though the executive order promotes more misinformation about vaccines, nothing has changed about the availability of childhood vaccines. For evidence-based guidance, please follow and share American Academy of Pediatrics recommendations.

If you want to know how my day is going, the first thing I did today was set my full coffee cup on a table that wasn’t there.

This is an amazing series! Dark and intense with a protagonist who just can’t seem to fix things.

Hey! The narrative audiobook of DEAD THINGS, the first in the Eric Carter, Necromancer series is 50% off until 12/1 if you like that sort of thing. www.audiobooks.com/promotions/p...

Fantastic series! Eric Carter is one of my favorite characters in urban fantasy.

How about a violent, sweary necromancer with anger management issues making really horrible life choices many of which involve murdering his problem away? The Eric Carter series www.penguinrandomhouse.com/series/EC2/e...

Finished @scalzi.com ‘s When the Moon Hits Your Eye. Great book with a silly, fun concept. The moon turns into cheese. Scalzi explores the political, economic, and social consequences of the change in a humorous but oh-so-true way. Definite recommend.

Finished The Staircase in the Woods by @chuckwendig.bsky.social This is the second Wendig book I’ve read (after Black River Orchard) but certainly not the last. Wendig has got some serious story-telling chops, and knows how to stick the landing. Excellent book, definitely recommended.

I see a lot of you still sharing posts from the obviously fake Count Dracula account, so please be aware: - the real Count would never post during daylight hours in Romania - his full given name is Vlad, not Vladimir - he does not actually say “blah” and would never write it out in a post
