the titan refights in sonic frontiers' battle rush mode is hilarious because you're probably hitting the gym at lv99 all stats so wyvern just crumbles to dust from nothing also what the hell are wyvern's lasers even supposed to do other than make funny noises. is this why they didnt mass produce it

i still think its hilarious that black knight and colors were just a year apart and black knight has big shovelware energy (not a negative its a charming vibe actually) while colors feels like a AAA title punching into a quality class Sonic Team still struggles matching with today

anyway i'll happily out myself as a fraud to bitch about this when i tried to play Sonic Forces Overclocked the mod unlocked all 3 of the ring achievements without my consent and nothing of value was lost.

in the Classic Sonic stages of Sonic Forces, Sonic Team made a choice with their object placements that i can only refer to as the "booboo springs" basically, if you were about to ram into a wall at certain points in stages, they would place a spring in front of it to do a jump for you.

as for why, i can only assume this is was a design decision made to ease newer players into the concept of a jump, something not many games contain. Sonic Team understands their audience would have a lot of difficulty grasping the concept of platforming.

even as late as Stage 22 out of 30, they are using booboo springs to remind the player that jumping is a thing you can do. Sonic Team truly understands the level of intellect their fanbase is equipped with. This reminder proves necessary for most players.
