I really don't want Gabe to go homeless, so if you donate more than $5 to his GoFundMe and DM me proof, I'll send you a copy of any of my ebooks, any you want. He still needs $1100 desperately!
Donate $50 or more and I'll let you name a character in a future book. Help me help Gabe.
I’m gonna scream. Not only does my appointment next week NOT help with housing, it ALSO doesn’t declare me disabled, which means ANOTHER step in the process. I’ll be homeless in less than a month, and I’ll die from my heart condition. Please consider donating. I need $2k.

Hey guys i have some EXTREMELY important appointments over the next three weeks that I absolutely cannot miss or reschedule as I have already been waiting months for or am in dire need of. Throne cards truly do help too! I cant express enough how grateful I am for the help so far!
Sadly I dont really have a break from constant appointments currently because my medical situation has gotten serious enough that doctors are suddenly very concerned. The best way to help is via a throne gift card or kofi. One ride is often $25

A wrong lesson to take from the Brazilian elections is that voting can defeat fascism. That's not true at all. Democracy is an incredibly frail system and the US almost took over the country through it.
ORGANIZED PEOPLE DEFEATED FASCISM
It's another day, so let's talk about this.
First of all, Lula didn't win the election alone. He won because more than half of the country FREAKED THE FUCK OUT and built a popular movement that organized several actions both irl and online.
whenever there is a meeting, a parting sure is to follow.
...
whether a parting be forever or merely for a short time...
that is up to you.

After the first round elections, Congressman André Janones created a WhatsApp channel titled “Lula’s Army.” It ballooned to 10 million people following his commands on how to behave online to counteract Meta’s far-right-favouring algorithms. The right knows how to use socials. We must learn, too.
I know absolutely nothing about Lula except that i saw someone share a clip on insta of him in celebration kissing a trans woman politician on the cheek and oh my god is that a radical act for a politician in 2026 so lets fucking go
going to be dramatic at 9am on a monday morning - i think all these terribly-organised, over-crowded, largescale "comic cons" that leave visitors with a terrible taste in their mouths will have a lot of folk writing off comic events entirely and it actively harms small press and independent creators
Dia 31 será lançado um quadrinho novo! É algo que eu estive trabalhando em tem bastante tempo e estou bastante animado de finalmente compartilhar. Fiquem ligados...

I need to stress this part:
Instead of letting our anger lead us, we focused on work and joy.
Anger creates rifts and makes us easy to bait. But they can't take the joy of your effort when you're focused on doing your part and lifting each other up. Winning or losing, it feels worth doing.
Never forget that fascism lives for aesthetics and attention. They have no depth.
Take the stage, take your colors, solidarize with those they hate, don't engage with them, don't give them oxygen,
and make fury your dance partner
make it shine, laugh, take children, MAKE THE FIGHT WORTH ITSELF
new fun vibecoded bsky bullshit: clicking on anything but likes (so posts, reblogs, etc) brings you to the top of the dashboard.
isn't it great to be developed by someone who put their phone in a pool
I just want to name that people overcame this. Even against a stacked deck, the good fight is worth it. Win or lose, it's worth it. And sometimes the good guys win.
Bolsonaro-friendly mayors appear to be sabotaging public transport on Election Day. Buses aren’t running in Lula-friendly areas, flights and ferries mysteriously canceled. Traffic lights have gone out and people’s power cut in Salvador, indigenous people’s travel restricted
I think artists and sex workers should have a natural allyship.
Both of us are often told we should not be allowed to charge for our work if it is at all pleasurable.
Both of us are wanted for what we can do, but our work is considered not worth paying for.
We should stick together
NEVER BEFORE IN BRAZILIAN HISTORY A CANDIDATE THAT LOST THE FIRST ROUND WON THE ELECTIONS.
IN THESE 3 WEEKS BETWEEN ROUNDS WE LEARNED THE POWER OF COMMUNITY.
IN THE PAST 3 WEEKS THE BRAZILIAN LEFT ORGANIZED ITSELF INTO AN INCREDIBLY WELL COORDINATED POPULAR MOVEMENT AGAINST THE BIG TECHS, THE ELITES, THE ORGANIZED CRIME, THE EVANGELICALS AND THE US.
ALL POWERS ARE FIGHTING US AND YET WE CAME TOGETHER.
The Bolsonarists didn't change their minds, they didn't suddenly stop believing that their man could do no wrong and that Lula was an existential threat to Brazil. They were simply outvoted by those who refused to risk a return to fascism, and decided not to sit this election out.
It's really important to pay attention to the fact that Lula beat the fascist candidate not by compromising and trying to meet fascist voters in the middle, but by sticking to his guns, promising prosecutions for election interference, and mobilising his own voters to turn out in greater numbers.
